Yeah, it's sold out. I thought he was asking if it even existed, which it does.
After speaking with amazon.ca chat, i didn't get any further information or help.
I was told to open an order with Amazon.com, but I pointed out it was a Collector's edition and as such, limited and out of stock on Amazon.com as well.
I got offered upgraded shipping but I mentioned if I don't get my item it serves no purpose.

Lol yeah that was what started this whole nonsense for me
My delivery date said Sept 4-8 and I asked why it wasn't Sept 1 so they "upgraded" my shipping to 1 day delivery and then I no longer had a delivery date at all

Wow, I'm definitely keeping both of my orders then.
Oh God, my order is with Best Buy. I was already nervous about it, especially since I ordered it when they opened it back up in July, but if Amazon and other places are reported to having issues I guess I should just start to accept the fact that I'm not getting this.
The only time Amazon's messed up on a pre-order for me that I remember, they knocked 20% (30 bucks) off my order. Hopefully it won't come to that for you lot. Good Luck fellers.

Unfortunately this is true for me too... Had a few CE versions back ordered after they failed to ship by release... My delima right now is that I have an extra gamestop one in payment limbo and I was going to cancel it but now I'm not sure why I should do...

I would recommend to just buy the game day one and then sell it when the CE arrives. It's a loss of 10-20 bucks but you won't have to wait 2-3 weeks.

Im definitely getting my copy on time. I found a local place that will sell it to me Monday but thats the best I got. I've forgotten about the CE at this point and am at least getting my game.

Mine on the US store still has a delivery date for next Tuesday, but it sounds like the problem could be severe so I won't believe it until it ships.

I have a preorder of the CE through amazon.com that thankfully still says delivery by 8pm on 9/1.
I say that not to brag, but for insurance in case of shipping/supply issues, I also have a PSN preorder of the regular version so I can play Day 1. This is the first/only time I've ever done that, and I guess it'll be worth it either way.

Theres people apparently on the BB forums complaining about being backordered. Dont risk it if you want to play day one imo.
Edit: I say this as somebody who's order looks exactly like yours for the CE
I'm in the US, ordered one Collector's Edition each from Amazon.com & GameStop.com within the first hour they were available. My Amazon.com order page says Tuesday by 8pm, which is an upgrade from "September 1st" which it said in the past.
I took days off from work for this, one of them better show up on Tuesday!
But... if it doesn't I will play Steins;Gate until I've seen all endings! That's my backup plan!

Well I don't really have a choice. It's the only pre-order i have. If it doesn't happen I can always just go to the store and buy a standard copy if need be.

No tree, just good at saving, and a new and last MGS doesn't happen everyday. If need be, I can always sell the disc version.

Yep, I'm in the second round too. I almost canceled my first order because of this one, but decided to hold on to it for now as a back up plan. I don't trust Best Buy's preorders on limited items yet.
Since when is having $160 considered having a ton of cash?

Ordered from BB too all the way back in March. If it's backordered I'll just pre-order a copy with my CGU and use some reward certificates to lower the price further. Might end up making a profit if I sell it to the local used book/movie/music place once the CE arrives.
