So I just bought FIFA 16, my first ever football game. I've been really getting into the sport over the last 3 years or so and decided to see what all the fuss was about with the most popular video game on the planet.
Really enjoying myself so far. One question though... Can I play a full season with a single Premier League team? Seems like I can only do tournaments, or My Career mode where I just focus on training my one character. I just want to be able to play a full season with Everton from beginning to end.
I got to agree with me. PES feels much more arcadey than FIFA this year, which is one of the reasons I haven't bought PES.I couldnt disagree more, FIFA is way more arcadey, feels much more like a videogame than a soccer game
This sounds really good. Hopefully I can still do those tight close control turns. Nobody could take the ball off me with Isco in FIFA 15. But I only just learned it after a year. The salt from the people who can't just throw long balls over the defence and run over and over again is really funny. You have to actually play some football now, like passing and defending, boring stuff, yeah.
Can you show a picture? I'm curious.god damn, the new UT card design is ugly as fuck.

Must have glimpsed over it. I'll check again.Isn't it in the OP?
I don't think Matt knows who EA are lol
Mine shipped yesterday and now it's saying delayed due to processing error.Anyone else ordered from Amazon.co.uk, had it ship yesterday, and now being held at a local sorting office using "keepsafe" or is it just me?

this game is what I would call a 'swarm' game, you get the ball and suddenly you are swarmed, it is like paying ping pong, constant interceptions, and I mean constant. people are arguing it is realistic, I would say it is not as no where do you see the ball bouncing constantly between the two teams. The game is now all about strength and I dont see how that is any different to the famous pace abuse?

A friend received more than one copy and so I own Fifa 16 now (Ps4).
From what i've seen so far on streams - i have yet to play the game - this year's FIFA requires something i don't remember FIFA ever requiring as mandatory:
Patience. Build up play. Pass Back. Pass to the side. Keep possession. Like real football.
All i see - at least most of the streamers, with the exception of maybe two - is people trying impossible passes (possible in the past, impossible in real life), spaming the sprint button with every action - first touches, passing, turning - resulting in a ball loss, spaming the L1-Triangle pass, rushing to tackle to win ball back, etc.
Also, the oponents this streamers keep getting do the same thing. This results in a orgy of missed passes, interceptions, losing possession on the first pass of the start of possession, etc.
It may not be your case, but so far, that's what i've seen.
The odd two streamers that were keeping possession and doing a good build up play, won every game i seen. I'm not talking a lot of hours, got not patience to watching people play besides checking a new game out, but i'm talking about 5 or 6 hours of games.
Did they fix OP crossing/headers?
Crossing seems much more difficult to get right. But headers are still very strong.

I am sure most here use custom sliders, but in case some don't, I highly suggest it. Operation Sports has a nice slider set that seems to help and the game plays better imo.
I'm just afraid that the long balls/sprint spammers will make so much noise that the current gameplay will be changed in a later patch.

Is the new hard pass being abused online?

Bought it, hate it.
Interceptions are way to common. When I'm holding a to mark someone with the ball and they pass, one of my guys will intercept and pass the ball really hard.
Passing is a lot worse. I'll aim at someone right in front of me and it'll either go for the guy behind him, or someone off to the side, and no, I'm not holding a down too long.
just a quick tip, do not, under any circumstance, use "A" for defense, its slow, easy to break and really bad positioning, i know its there, but it's better to not use it. just use L2/LT to keep a defensive stance while running with R2 (or not running) and press square/Y do tackle when he makes a mistake, Edit: or mark the pass (the player who will most likely receive it) and leave the ball carrier for your teammates with R1/RB for pressing
Not from Amazon, I ordered through Simplygames it got dispatched yesterday morning for delivery today but Royal Mail have tweeted saying they won't be delivering any copies before release day tomorrow.

How do they know what's inside the parcel unless Simply told them? (Which they surely wouldn't considering their track record)

Haters' gonna hate.
It is disgusting what he did, though.

But it doesn't work online?
Would you mind linking? I'd be interested in that.
Also, is it a slider for World Class? As far as I'm aware, different sliders effect different difficulty levels. As someone stuck between professional being a tad too easy and World Class being a large amount too difficult, I'd be down for a World Class slider that just tones down some of the aggressive defensive AI.
Who is that and what did he do?
