NFL 2015 Week 14 |OT| - A Fraud Probably Injures Himself

Because Americans in general are dumb and think "socialistic medicine" sounds like "communism"

I weep for this ccountry

If poor people really cared about their own health then they'd pull themselves up by their boot straps, go to medical school, become doctors and cure themselves.

Just before the school year started I went and saw a doctor about pain I am having in my knee. When I got so sick last year I fell down a few times and I really twisted my knee one of the times. So the doc had me go get an mri on my knee, and then right after the crap about raising our insurance came out so I never went back to get the results. You are very lucky in this one instance to not have to worry about the cost of shit like this. To bad your team still is stuck with Foles though. :(

Yeah, it's beyond fucked up. NHS isn't perfect but at least everyone has access to free healthcare and longer waiting times are a small price to pay. Trying to make out like it's a bad thing shows a depressing lack of empathy for your common man and fuck the current Conservative government for trying to privatise the NHS.

Yes!

Falcons fans: I feel your pain. Kyle Shanahan is an awful offensive coordinator and in need of a demotion to running backs coach. Shanahan sucks an OC for the second year in a row. Your receiving core is great but Shanny fucking it up with his absolutely BS offense. No way in fuck should Matty Ice struggle with grasping a playbook during the season.

The Cleveland Browns are 2 - 10 with a 60% chance to get the first overall pick
The Dallas Cowboys are 4 - 8 (two games ahead of Cleveland) and 1 game out from hosting a home playoff game.

"I broke my hand at practice yesterday, and I'll play in the game on Sunday."-J.J. Watt. Said it happened "playing football."

Doomed. Seasons over. Pack it up.

I want a color rush jersey but 150 is fucking steep. I have a Witten throwback I paid 85 for. Just a replica now goes for 100 easy. The nba Christmas jerseys are going for 109, t-shirts 27 and the shoot around long sleeves are 80.

Poor/unemployed people in states without dickhead Governors can get free care through Medicaid now because of the PPACA.

NFL Jerseys are never on discount, ever..unless there it's a fire sale when the player is axed from the Team.

Really? I can only speak for the Eagles, but I got one of those hoodies in a 25% off all items sale in mid-November, expecting it to be done. Since then, every single day I've gotten an email about a store-wide sale, varying from 20-30% off all items.

Per Forbes Sixers owners want to sell team because want to bring a permanent nfl team to London.

I bet they are super pissed off at the NBA. The league stepping in and forcing their guy on the sixers is beyond fucked up. Even if their plan doesnt work at all and the team is bad for ever it is still their team. Could you imagine if the NFL forced the Browns to hire Parcells as their GM?

That needs to happen. Browns fans deserve better than the constant Shit show they have now.

That or forcefully remove Haslam as owner

I would love it if the NFL did fucking something to try to make the Browns not fucking awful.

So would Drew Magary.

Hinkie is abusing the system and isn't treating the players like humans.

If the NBA is going to draft kids out of school after 1 year they have a responsibility to help transition them to being an adult and a professional athlete.

That actually might have been good for the browns. Pracells might have brought them some talent and set them up but knowing the browns it would have ended horribly. Has any pro league in the US forced a coach to a team before?

Errr, they forced the Giants to hire Young back in the day and it led to two super bowls under Parcells?

What's Dallas long-term plan for finding a successor to Romo? LOOOOOOOOOL at Dallas possibly making the playoffs without Romo. Dallas makes the playoffs and Philly fans running Chip out of town only for him to wind up in Tennesse would be poetic justice.

The replies to that original tweet......

PFTCommenter is in there and he's not really sticking out in any way.

Tragic.

Edit: Actually, I meant the PFT tweet about the same article

Someone else is going to state the obvious but it won't be me...

The league should remove the rule against Packers-style ownership models and let the Browns pursue a similar model.

It find it absurd that a single team in the league is allowed to operate under such a setup.

lol some mocks have Miami taking a RB in the 3rd? For what? They need to take all the linebackers, CBs and Oline players they can find and hope one of them works out.

Sorry should've been more specific. These are sales like 20% off all orders over $50, and obviously jerseys are more than that, so it applied to jerseys as well. Specific discounts no, but there's been store-wide discounts at checkout for the last couple weeks now. Again, that's only for the Eagles

What do you think is the big competitive advantage? The only significant benefit is to the community, in that the Packers cannot leave.

Yeah most of the time I see a sale there is an asterisk. And then I read and it says Jerseys are excluded on the sale.

I don't think it gives you guys a competitive advantage.

I just think it's a really great community-oriented business model for a sports team - and it would be perfect for the Browns, who have been fucked over by poor ownership for decades.

Oh damn that sucks. Eagles Pro Shop has a 15% coupon voucher currently, and I just tried going to checkout with a jersey and punched in the code, and it successfully applied the discount. I figured all of these shops would have the same deals? Sorry man
