I think the game needs seasons so we can venture throughout the city in the spring, summer, and fall too.

You keep saying PleaseBeExcited but you going to have to forgive me if I take all that with a pinch of salt, specially after all the shit Unisoft has pulled out the bag in the last 2 years.

I really want the game to be good but there's so many unknowns yet specially on PVE side of things and with release date being 4 months away I'm a bit skeptical although we are getting some great positive reactions here, but as I have said before, Ubisoft has pulled the kind of stunt before.

Back to topic, all I need to know is if there is a meaningful story with a sizeable amount of content in which I can play on my own or with friends without having to put myself through the dark zone...Hated the whole concept of it to be honest as it was a massive free for all and with the potential to be a paradise for "toxic" players.

If I could tell you guys everything I know, I would, but I cant. Just going to have to try an trust me on it. This game is really unlike anything ive ever experienced before and that is my honest unbiased opinion.

anyone else experiencing server issues tonight? First time I've had any issues.........must have a lot more people on tonight then they did yesterday.....whatever......they'll fix it

Yup, been getting Delta 20000724 error, but I had been able to rejoin. Now stuck on 95% loading.

yes, I might just wait till after maintenance now. Seems like they are working on some stuff in the background. Was a good night till the last 30 minutes, Been very, very happy with the alpha. Guess I'll go watch some Hunter x Hunter lol


or my bulls fail in the 4th quarter XD


edit: nvm they beat the clippers already....forgot it was an early game lol

Is there a place talking freely about the alpha? I'd like to read about a lot of what's there.

I hate being part of collateral damage for PR as if I don't understand what an alpha is and that it's not final. If you're gonna let anyone play it at this point then please spare me.

I really wish you could.

I had a really good feeling about this one, especially with Massive, and after spending entirely too much time in this Alpha, I can say I'll be there day one with bells on.

It plays great, it looks great, and the attention to detail in the environment is really something special.

Extracted a dozen or so blues from the DZ tonight rolling w/ Jackbooted. Didn't see any griefers really, plenty of groups just trying to get their loot out.

I had been rolling solo, much more fun in a group.

Spent a full hour looting in the tunnels just to get shot by a Group near the extraction.

Pvp is only this? A big area with groups of bots that drop loot and redeem it to the extraction?? No other modes? Just a big FFa in free roam area?

Pve looked cool but would like to know if its only missions In co op and the city serving as an hub.

after finishing the bigger sidequests and reaching level 7+
its getting boring pretty fast in free roam.
so i went to the darkzone and the most exciting thing was, when i wanted to extract my contaminated loot but there was one guy at the extraction zone that pretended to be friendly. he started to shoot when i was already in the extraction process but quickly got behind cover, he also, shotout happened, then i land a nade and finished him off.
helicopter is gone, no extraction. called in next helicopter. around 30seks later the guy is running towards me with a freakin ballistic shield. i jumped off the heli port and ran away.
i saw him on my radar like 10m away from me, both in full sprint mode, so after 200m i shot a remote explosive right in the front of the car ahead and blew it up ~2seks after i passed by. that hit him hard, he went to cover behind the car and i walked straight towards him and filled him up with a full extended clip.
helicopter arrived just in time so i finally finished my extraction.
this was a really intense moment, alone in the dark zone, you just want to extract your stuff running out of medi kits and a guy hunting after you.

I really got this adrenalin feeling that i got in evolve as monster when the others hunting me. lol

after two days of playing i got an idea:

think about the following mechanics that will interlock together like a set of gears.

First I think The Division needs PvE Dungeons where Players meet in free roam at the entrance and have to make groups to finish the dungeon.
At the End of the dungeon, which is maybe a big contaminated building or underground you have to extract for example on top of the building.
but the dungeon and the final extraction is an instance only for your group, so choose your members wisely.
Then we need a PvP Reputation system. Rouge level for killing Agents, and Agent level for killing Rouges for example.
So when you form a dungeon group with unknown people, you either form a fair group of agents and the rouges are left alone, beat the dungeon and extract.
or you form a group with a bunch of rouges where no one trusts anyone and maybe have a big shootout in the end.

i think this would be a massive thing, because many fair players crying over rouges in free roam and would have the chance to beat dungeons in their way.
but we can keep the free roam PvP as it is, because i love the intense extraction moments as a lone walking agent.

with that pvp reputation there may be extra item merchants like a rouge marked or agent dealer.
also would work perfectly together with dungeons and forming a group as described above.

what do you think?

Played the Alpha for like 4 hours yesterday, tried a little bit of everything, and I think I'm done. It's absolutely fantastic so far, but I don't want to see too much before March.
