Nah, there are other armor permutations, it's shown in the N7 developer diary. Each helmet, for example, offers different stats.

I think that the N7 may be one of the few full sets with "suit bonuses" if you have all the pieces on, similar to the Blood Armor in Dragon Age.

I don't think you can. I think they just have what they start with and then can get another set of armor through the course of the game. Could be wrong though.

I think that's actually either a heavy weapon or a light machine gun assault rifle variant.

Should be available to everyone, there appears to have been a miscommunication by Bioware there when they showed it off as part of the Limited Edition.

im wondering if the preorder armors will be fully customizable like the N7 armor... i doubt it though.

EDIT: yeah im positive its a missile launcher, in one of the vidocs talking about the geth you can see them using it.

Seriously, screw street dates. If the game is done and an individual has preordered it, just sell it! It's not like it's going to sell less because they lost a week of marketing to the "core" fan base.

Now I'm sure there are marketing statistics, full of charts and graphs, that show how X amount of advertising weeks can improve first week sales numbers. But then you run this risk of "leaks" and pirates who want the game as soon as (illegally) possible. And in th end the core fans, developer and publisher miss out.

Does that mean I have to finish that game to get my character to move over?

I love ME1, but I have gone through it 3 or 4 times already and am not looking forward to doing it again.

You can only import character from an end save. This save is created when you beat the game. You will have to use another character if you have one.

If you select to start a New Game, any game save listed under the New Game+ menu is an endgame save available to carry over to ME2. If there's nothing there, then yes you'd have to finish your current playthrough.
