Which artwork is that? Did I miss something?

This one.

Where are Ignis and Gladio?

On the left of Noctis. You can tell Prompto due to the blonde hair and Gladio has the beard and you can see the 4th which is Ignis looking away with Gladio's arm around him while Gladio and Prompto are looking at him and not shying away from him.

I am probably way over thinking but it is the vibe it give off

How do we know that's Noctis and co. at all? They look similar I guess, but with a 20-30 year age difference...

Are you sure? Because that is usually not the case.

This is usually the case for games with dual audio but localized for the English audience. In ED, the ENG subtitles has Ignis referring to Noctis as 'Highness' and in JP audio Ignis refers to Noctis as 'Noct'.

The gameplay that we saw had English localized subtitles and UI, and JP audio.

They're not, it's not actually concept art but an actual painting in the FFXV world, something like "The Last Supper" in our world. It was painted by some great artist a long time ago, and is about religion.

So it's not Noctis and the party in the picture, but it's most likely about them in a symbolic sense, a prophecy of some sort.

O’er rotted Soil, under blighted Sky, A dread Plague the Wicked has wrought. In the Light of the Gods, Sword-Sworn at his Side, ‘Gainst the Dark the King’s Battle is fought. From the Heavens high, to the Blessed below, Shines the Beam of a Peace long besought.

“Long live thy Line and these Stones divine, For the Night When All comes to Naught.”

– Cosmogony 15:2, “Nadir.”

Well I'm certainly crossing my fingers for that to be true!

This picture helps explains it. I mean I am not saying for sure but when you look at it a lot of it makes sense especially since the party all wears black. Looks like one is summoning swords, one with blonde hair and all the other stuff around them. In the demo there is wording of a bit of foreshadowing in a biblical sense and reads similarily to one as well.

Thanks artsi! Look at what artsi said as well.

I want dual audio day one but I wouldn't mind giving the eng dub a shot, guess we will know next month.

After all this time, I can't believe Final Fantasy XV will finally be released THIS year. I'm hoping SquareEnix can recapture it's magic that I haven't experienced since Final Fantasy X. Having Greg and Tim as hosts are perfect. They really done an amazing job as host for Uncharted 4's panel. They generally have a love for the genre, I really don't get some of Gaf's hostility towards them.

Greg and Tim are hosting :lol

I love Greg and get that he isn't a fan but he explained it better on reddit than here, is that they aren't there to fan boy (even though Tim is) they are there to be interviewers and keep the show moving

WHOA. I had no idea...Thanks for sharing!

Yeah no problem! Just don't take any of it as fact, even though it may make sense.

I love the crypticness at the end of Duscae though. Even though I got my hands on the representation of XV at that time it was Ramuh, Armiger and the ending scene with the art and biblical type passage that reminded me of Versus and that we will end up at a great place with this game.

My god I hope dual audio is in or else I'm importing so quick. I want that Japanese voiced Noctis. Can't go back to the English ways lol.

Funny thing is that I like Noctis's english voice it is just hearing the JP voices for so long, I can't hear them any other way :lol

Here's my version of that painting. I think there's too much Leviathan / Siren mix-ups. No way holy Leviathan would be down there with all the scum. Ifrit is quite hellish (well... Hellfire, duh.) so maybe?

I share Artsi's interpretation.

I like artsi's more as well. The one I posted is from other FF forums. It was the only interpretation like that I could find.

I do think that the line of Lucis could very well be called upon and be the Knights of the Round as well though.

Well we are going to have guest characters so I assume at a certain points some characters like Ignis,Gladio or prompto will go do something or split up.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I got a feeling there'll be a chunk of the game with Noctis and Luna together in a party, I wonder how Luna will fight if so.

Yeah that's true, they're not really exclusive.

I have actually one idea how they might appear in the game.

In the end something very bad happens but Noctis manages to call the ultimate summon which happens to be KOTR, which is his ancestors coming from the heavens to kill whatever is the unbeatable enemy.

Just a theory :p

Well with Artsi's interpretation then that means she could very well be Levi? I mean we see the trident in the art with Luna and her

That would be interesting. I would like to use Knight of the Round more than that though! :p

It should be the last summon we get if it is one though

Imagine this in XV.. good god.

Well done. Seems very plausible.

The eidolon on the lefthand side of the image looks like Zalera from XII. Perhaps it could be one summon instead of 2?

As much as that looks like I highly doubt we see a homage to XII's espers. They have been going back to the older FFs for monster designs and I think we will see the summons fall much more in line with VII.

Bahamut and Leviathan seem to be in looooove lol

Seriously, that painting is one of the things about this game I'm the most curious about. I really want to pin down who each of those is, it will be great filling up every slot when I play the game :D

Makes sense to me.

Niflheim tracks Luna's location to Altissia. They take over the city and arrest her. Something happens that makes her guardian, Gentiana, go berserk. She turns into her Leviathan form and destroys everything.

Seeing more parts of the game besides Duscae, and revisiting that image in this topic has got me more hyped. It deflated a bit after Duscae, but with the improvements and with the reminder that this is Final Fantasy, which will have a focused story... feeling good about it.

I like the focus on the summons as being more integral to the world, and them having more character. I think that is a great concept to explore.

Yeah! Something we have never seen in an FF before. Quite ambitious story wise nevermind what we saw from Ramuh, so I am curious how they pull it off.

In reference to Ramuh I was just talking about the visuals that happened during the actually summoning.

I recall that interview saying that he wasn't as important as a summon as others.

Sounds like they're going to try and make good on the fal'Cie stuff from XIII. Not that they're necessarily going to be gods holding up society to an extent, but there's going to be more to them than "monster you call sometimes."

Summons as actual characters is an interesting idea and a good one.

I assumed those four in the center were the founders of the four nations, given that the painting seems to portray some sort of historical legend or creation myth. The guy summoning the swords would be the first king of Lucis, who passed that ability on through his line.

I wonder, if that power was indeed given to the Caelum line by the goddess, were the other three also given similar powers? Would tie in with the idea that Lucis had the "last remaining crystal," or whatever it was in Versus. The other nations have sacrificed or otherwise lost their own power/crystal.

Probably because Ignis
turns on them at some point but they take him back into the crew
