E3 begins in 100 days- what are we expecting?

Yeah but ND is working on UC4...when do they have time for TLOU? Pretty sure all ND got put on UC4 in the run up to launch. I will bet you won't see TLOU 2 until next year at least.
It couldn't be too hard to put together a short reveal trailer.

After two years just put something out there that says the project exists. They have to have something by now even if it's minimal.

SonyThere's absolutely no chance of them matching that this time around- that conference was a once-in-a-generation event, and nothing short of Half Life 3, followed by Naughty Dog developing Crash Bandicoot, followed by Miyamoto jumping ship and bringing Mario with him would live up to it. I suspect we're in for a strong conference, though, but one which will always have last year's overshadowing it- PSVR will have a strong presence, but there won't be any game announcements that are quite as the big three.
Predictions
PSVR all over the place
Crash Bandicoot (but not as you'd want it)
Horizon Zero Dawn
God of War
Gran Turismo
PS4 Slim?
Biggest third party and indie showcase of the year

See personally this is where I would have to disagree with you. Although what Sony did last year was amazing no doubt. It wasn't as if FF7 the redone edition is coming out in 2016. Doubtful of FF15 & KH 3. Along with the likes of Shenmue 3. Which all of these seem to be at least afar off as 2017 if not later in some cases.

HL3 being announced is the same thing as FF& being redone being announced. Until we don't have some solid gameplay shown & a plausible deadline set. There is no point.

Now if this year they were going to release a a brand new GoW game sequel to the 3rd one, along with a sequel to DMC 2 (in the story line), a return to a classic crash bandicoot redone for today, GT sport & 7 being announced while being PSVR compatible, Sega bringing in the VLK. Chronicles 2 & 3 to the PS4. If all of this was to be announced in the same manner the others were in last year's E3. I think it would be just of a strong E3 event for Sony as 2015.

Exactly. I don't know why people think that we won't get a Crash game in vein of the originals.

If Sony is overseeing the game and it's a PS4 exclusive, I'm sure that it'll be close to the classics. They know what fans want.

You know that when E3 speculations threads starts popping up, legendary creatures come back to life and great games start coming out, it's when gaming's best season is beginning.

Yea I'm hoping for the same thing. I haven't played a Crash game since the PS2 days (playing the PS1 disc ofc.). Its too bad PS4 requires you to pay for psn to play online. Otherwise I would have already bought a ps4 just for bloodborne. But $0NY...

Hopefully GT sport. I really want to see what Polyphony can do with Ps4.

Yeah same here. I've been playing the GT series since the 3rd one (my first ps2 game actually). I just hope the offline aspect is solid as well. Otherwise I ma going to have to wait for GT7.

I want to hear about new games. No more last gen rehashes. I have a rotten feeling that VR is gonna cause normal xbone/ps4 users to be in a dry spell yet again next year.

Uncharted 4 will have Singleplayer DLC though. I think they will focus on it.

VR is more likely to remove dry spells than add them. Most games playable in VR can be played without it.

Since a lot of us have already given what they expect and a lot of it is the same, I'm going to give some reaches out of left field.

Bethesda: Fallout game by Telltale.

EA: VR sports game.

Microsoft- I would say a new Xbox 1 slim console but that has been said. I will go with Marvel vs Capcom 4, MS exclusive. That would combat Sony's Street Fighter V.

Sony- Hard to say since we know most of their stuff for the next 12-18 months. I'll go with a brand new Dark Cloud 3.

Nintendo- Mother 4 because at this point everything is up for grabs with Nintendo.

From Sony I'm expecting God of War 4, Sony Bend's new IP, the return of Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted 4 story DLC, and possibly another title in collaboration with From Software.

Nintendo has a new system to show off, including an entire catalogue of games for that new system. Not too sure about Microsoft right now but I'm expecting them to have hired some 3rd party devs to work on 1st party titles, similarly to Platinum and Remedy.

What I'm personally looking forward to/hoping to see the most:

-Dishonored 2 gameplay
-More stuff on Horizon: Zero Dawn
-Visceral's Star Wars project
-Red Dead Resomething
-Finally seeing what Sony Bend is doing
-Something/anything on Cyberpunk 2077
-Something/anything on Kojima's new game

Putting $ in names generally doesn't end well.

As for me I have no expectations, so I'm not setting myself up for disappointment.

From Sony, I'm expecting:

New Last Guardian footage followed with a release date.
New FF7 footage followed with a release date for Part 1.
Shenmue III footage
New Syphon Filter.....I wish

I say this about Nintendo every E3, but they need a big fucking E3, especially if the NX is being shown. I mean, if the NX isn't shown, it would be a disaster anyway.

MS will hopefully show some Crackdown 3 gameplay and have a release date.
I'd imagine Gears 4 gameplay with a release date.
MS seems to have a rather predictable template every E3, which has been decent actually, but kind of uneventful.
Kind of like the Raw or two after the Rumble every year, the Undertaker shows up and you're supposed to be surprised but we all knew because they do it every year(ie, Halo, Gears).

We have absolutely no idea how much work has been done, so maybe you shouldn't be so flippant about the ease with which they could produce a trailer in time for E3. I'd put money (or my avatar) on there not being anything revealed about TLoU2 before PSX.

I am pretty sure the second team was pulled into to help finish UC4, correct me if I am wrong.

Its easy to forget, but TLOU was made in secret by a team of like 40 people over a few years. There has already been a few leaks/ hints that its been in development. Could be a small chance of a teaser at some point this year, like psx.

People expecting TLOU2 and Bloodborne 2 will be disappointed.

Small chance of at least a teaser. I mean there has only been one game in the series and it has sold over 8 million and were already in the third year of PS4. It's gonna happen sooner or later.

NX for sure.
Zelda Wii U/ NX
That is really all that I need to be happy. 2016 has already shaped up to become one of the best years for gaming in such a long time.

Mirrors Edge
No Mans Sky
Zelda
XCom 2
The Witness
Dark Souls III
New Deus Ex
Uncharted 4
Overwatch
Doom
Virtual Reality
Much much more

Xcom 2???

Squadron 42...book it.

Microsoft owes us a new Conker after what they did with him recently.

He better be at E3.

I know he won't be. :/

I want a summer release date for KoFXIV... And the next NFS to be as close to Shutokou Battle as reasonably possible. Anything else is a bonus.

Sony
-PSVR
-Probably going to try and keep tradition of bringing at least 1 beloved franchise back (whether on sequel form or remake/remaster)
-Bend's New I.P.
-TLG Release Date
-PS1 Classic on PS4 starting with Crash Bandicoot, there you have it, hes back >:)
-WHO LIKES INDIES!
-Destiny Expansion 3
-Duties 2K16
-More Third Party!
-Will most likely replace U4 with GOW4 as their hype/graphics game for the next 1-2 years. (Will end conference)

I cant wait to see the NX handheld, if the thing is powerful enough snd they figure their shit out with the Virtual Console it could be retro gaming heaven.

I'm hoping for a strong Nintendo showing. The way things are lining up, NX could really come out the gate in a big way for Nintendo software lovers. Retro's next, TEPD's next, and Zelda should all be out around launch if previous cycles maintain. I really hope those three games make a showing and truly amaze.

Other hopes: Civ VI, DQ XI info...

I'm hoping for a slim PS4 and elite type controller from Sony. Maybe Bungie will have a nice surprise, but doubt that this time around.
