I'm watching a Netflix show called love. Rich Sommer. The guy who voices Henry is in one the episodes. I instantly recognized his voice!
Campo Santo ‏@camposanto
Firewatch has out-sold our wildest expectations. Campo Santo is going to be around for a while and we can't wait to make whatever is next.
Yeah, I haven't done a replay yet but I plan on it.Like two weeks later I still find myself thinking about this world. Good job guys.
I think regarding endgame Delilah, imagine how much atmosphere would immediately be ruined if you saw a big greasy awkward 3D model of a human being out of nowhere that supplants the mental image you had been building up the whole time? The game does a MASTERFUL job of having other characters in silhouettes or irregular states to keep you immersed. It would be way too risky and thematically inconsistent to have 3D Delilah sitting there to say goodbye in person and then sit on an awkward helicopter ride with you.

Anyone else just consistant vague feeling of terror while playing this? I get this feeling with most fps games, and this one did it. Just waiting for doom, gets exacerbated by wearing headphones.
Every time I repelled or climbed a rope I kept waiting for someone to cut the line. Or when I was climbing the rocks, for a fist to come out of nowhere and hit me in the face as I pulled myself up. All the shady shit going on got me, how you say, paranoid.
WTF just finished this game are there multiple endings or something? Because mine was terrible. I was left with the feeling wtf that was it??
There has got to be something I missed right?
I finished it yesterday and had the same reaction. What a let down. I didn't expect it to be this great, sci fi reveal. But it ended so abruptly and with such a whimper. It's like the writers called the ending in.WTF just finished this game are there multiple endings or something? Because mine was terrible. I was left with the feeling wtf that was it??

Is this just 16 minutes of "Firewatch isn't a game!" discussion?

Question for anyone who has finished the game, I am just curious:When did you first suspect Brian was dead? For me it was the second time in the cave (when you get locked in), I looked down and saw a shoe on a rock. I knew exactly at that moment. It was still heartbreaking and horrible when I found him. I felt ill.
Has the game been fixed yet? I ordered it from PSN while I was out, and came home to see GAF explode about how terrible the PS4 version is, so I just let it sit for the updates to roll out. I saw it get updated once a week or two ago, but I don't know if that's THE game fixing patch.
I just want to be able to start the game as problem free as possible.

My wife played it to completion last week and it's much better than how it was at launch when I played it. There's some stuttering in saves spots but it seems as "fixed" as it will ever be on ps4.
Why didn't the (plot spoilers)man bury his dead son? Or, at least, move his body somewhere?
he said he : " wanted to do but after a while, I thought, what's the point ? "
I felt this game was pretty good, but lacked that bit of polish and longevity that would have made it worth the £12 asking price. I feel a little bit cheated as it feels a little incomplete and the ps4 version should never run like that - the graphics are just about ps3 level.
I would still recommend people give it a go.
He'sWell, hed've solved a lot of problems on all ends. "What's the point". Heh. Kinda lazy.had a whole lot of trouble trying to keep me from there. Coul
Question for everyone: I wasn't able to find the dead deer at Wapiti Station with the radio collar. Can anyone tell me how to find it?
On day 78 after you leave brian's hideout and drop back down onto the path between the cave and beartooth point, turn right towards beartooth instead of left towards the cave.
This game has been on my mind for some time. It looks like it'll be quite the narrative experience, and I guess i'm just looking for confirmation.
Should I dive in and get it?

People seem pretty split on their thoughts/opinions on the game. For me, it's the best game I've played in years.
I'd argue it's best to wait for a deal on it. It's very short and the players is pretty divided. I don't think there's any reason to rush to get the game unless you can't find another narrative-central game that interests you. It's a gamble, in my experience.

Any news on bugs/performance fixes? Did Campo Santo share their plans some more (and are keeping word on their promise?).
