Of Gods and Men [Mafia] | Ambrosia In Front Of Me

It's a scumtell from a confirmed townie? :p

What do you guys think of Panda asking for role claims?

I agree with this line of thinking. Still, I wonder what ways of removing the gods there are, because otherwise Komena could reveal themselves right away and start to organize the town. Komena can't be targeted at night, so it's not like that player could even be role blocked or otherwise interfered with.

Are you referring to this^ ?

CHAPTER IV

Oh, those damn necks! One night on those stupid cobblestone and they could barely move anymore. Why were they asleep anyway? What were they about to do? Oh right, lynch Lone_Prodigy!

"Did you already forget what happened yesterday?", Royos voice suddenly interrupted them from everywhere and nowhere, "You already tried this and he just sent you to sleep with one little blink. If I were in your position I wouldn't try this again. It would be very stubborn..."

"And boring", added Yena, "Yes, mainly boring."

I'm boring. And no.

The messages were a perfect opportunity to claim to Sophia in private, so you unclaimed people that didn't use that opportunity are acting scummy.

I'll explain my calls to claim in a bit more detail now that I'm back to a computer. I don't see any reason why information should be withheld from an as confirmed a townie as you can get pre-flipping, namely Zipped and Sophia.

I can see why some people might be reluctant to claim publicly, as this would give scum some more info too. But claiming to a confirmed townie protects your identity while still giving the town more information. Sophia specifically would have been the correct choice to message to today as scum are going to be pretty reluctant to target her at night. She could have evaluated the claims, and then she would have only needed to bring up a claim publicly if she thought there were some issues surrounding it. She'll likely be around tomorrow, so she still have the claim information that she could bring up for our remaining suspects.

Blanket statements are scummy. Nice way to throw shade as well and look towny. Blarg is correct about his message.

Do you have no argument to refute the statement though?

I also don't know why you're concerned with how I look when you should probably pay more attention to how you look. I don't really need to take efforts to look town when I've already pretty much proven my ability that interacts with a confirmed town. What I am doing, and what you refer to as throwing shade, is trying to find scum so that town can win. I would have used we in that last sentence but I have some big doubts that you are town.

Yes, beep beep beep.

Three beeps.

I only got one message last night, and I sent no message.

In all fairness i was going to send a message to my top scum asking "why you so scum!" But royal let me know that messages weren't blind, so I decided not to.

If I had thought more about it, I would have sent a message to Seath. Asking him to post more today. Because either we broke him, or he thinks that he is the logical lynch target for the day.

What after claiming God to not get lynched and then we actually lynched a god and all...

What is your ability?

Why are the private messages more trustworthy than anything we post here? Lying does not care about a character limit.

TY

1st.
Do you wanna get metaphysical?

2nd.
What are my thoughts on *Splinter?

1: Sure. I like metaphysical.

2: They are thoughts. Something in your brain, surely, I'm not that familiar with human brain functions. I'd say electrical impulses as my guess.

They're not. Sophia wasn't to just take the claims as truth. She was to analyze them and try to find inconsistencies. The only point of doing them through the messages instead of publicly would be to protect your identity.

Frankly, I think it would still be worth it to claim publicly. Scum already has confirmed town targets for tonight, so claiming wouldn't give scum an easier choice or anything. Additionally, it seems likely that most of town's powerful roles have already been revealed. We've had two detective-like people, and two protectors already confirmed.

Do you want to know what my role is?

On Blargonaut claiming to be Komena (or at least, I think that's what he kind of did?), well that's interesting.

I always did think that Fengshuifever was Komena mostly because of the LR use. Why would someone have an ability to redirect everything to him/herself?

It seems a god would have that ability since night immunity and all of that.

But I wonder...

Seath you need to stop this Lexa posting my poor lil gay heart can't take it

She's the god we need though.

My only problem with the claim thing is if there is another power role, you could try to manipulate it. We can only take it for your word that there are no consequences for the refuse command and that you can only affect ppl with view or protect as abilities.

Oh yeah... Blarg can't be Komena as Zipped's ability worked on him. (Plus he clarified Not Komena anyway)

Uh hmm.

I did have a strong suspicion of Komena being Fengshuifever though.

However, it doesn't help you guys if the actual Komena does claim (looking at LP)

Well I guess it kind of does, as you can instantly take out the gods of your suspects list, but still...

So with blarg being blarg,

l_P definately being a god

Do we lynch Seath?

Lightning rod had to have been a self targeting command, if it had been a command you target at someone else I should have seen it (unless Feng lied about it and "absorb" was the actual name of the ability not "activate").

However, if absorb was the actual name of ability, and it absorbed all commands, then that brings Feng/blarg back into possible contention for godhood.

1. Why?
2. If Blarg were a god your ability would have failed that night.

idk, wanted to w8 til OA responded before I decided, but I cool with giving the Seath thing a go today.

I'll vote Seath. I don't understand the benefit but I don't care enough to argue against it. If my math is right it doesn't change the number of mislynches we are allowed.

Hmm... thinking about how Day 2 played out. Zipped targeted me, got seven commands. If that were redirected to a God, would that count as targeting them? If it was the God's own action...?

No scrap that it just doesn't make sense.

We lynch Seath today, he survives, Zipped or Sophia dies overnight and then we have 1 less town voice during the ACTUAL scum hunting.

I haven't seen any benefit to testing his claim now, it seems to be a case of "well he could be lying, let's find out". Besides curiosity there is no reason to do that today.

Ideally he'll be removed by other means before we ever have to test it.

What are we at, 12 now?

If we lynch a god today, we're still at 12.

Scum kills someone (probably Zipped, I dunno) tonight.

We're at 11 tomorrow. Scum have 4 votes. 6 for majority.

Lynch town. 10, scum NK's us to 9, 5 for majority the next day.

Yes, all commands where redirected to Feng, which in every game we've ever seen would be the same as Zipped targeting feng directly. The fact that Zipped wanted to target you "shild" be irrelevant.

If it actually worked differently then Flush did it wrong, frankly.
