On second thought, I think this might have the chance to even become the next Rocket League if it's any good. It has everything to be the new meme game that is actually good despite being food for Youtubers doing stupid faces and annoying laughters.

but this is the good news.
They're working on 3 projects.

Chief creative officer and co-founder Ru Weerasuriya confirms that the studio currently has three titles in development: the just announced physics-based brawler De-formers, an unannounced Oculus Rift-exclusive title, and a mysterious AAA game in pre-production. Weerasuriya can't reveal the platform (or possibly platforms) or publisher of this unannounced blockbuster, nor can he confirm if it's a new IP, but he does tell us about 20 staffers are working on De-formers full-time with a larger team on the Oculus title and the rest on the AAA game with more to join as other projects near completion.

Game looks quirky, bright, colorful and fun, if it has splitscreen multi I can definitely see myself giving this a go. Kinda reminds me of Splatoon.

What are we supposed to be bemoaning exactly? The lack of press X for awesome?

The first 10 seconds of the trailer already look more fun than the entirety of The Order, so...

Good on them!

"Let's do the EXACT opposite of what we just did."

And they did.

I wouldn't be surprised if this comes out and ends up lighting the world on fire like Rocket Leauge or some such thing.

Has potential to be a lot of fun, by the looks of it. Must be a multiplayer game of some sort. I'll be curious to hear more about it.

Am I missing some kid of joke with people calling The Order 1886, Order 666...?

And what's up with the thread title?

Looks harmless. Sure it's not AAA big spectacle GUNS AND STORIES but it's good to have some variety in a portfolio.

Dont you read the nooz dawg? RAD sold out to da man, da corportaions, by making fun looking games that look interesting.

RAD could have been a contender, they could have been somebody, if only they kept making 3rd person cover based shooters, they could have been the best.

It honestly looks pretty fun but I'am one of the few people that actually wanted a sequel to The Order, to bad that will never happen.

Judging by their latest interview, RAD is still at 100 employees mark. Hopefully they will make it work with this multiple project approach [DeFormers, VR Oculus game, and unannounced AAA multiplatform game].

You seem to be really mad that some people aren't interested in colorful MP games where you're a ball. It's still okay for you to like this if others don't.

Reporter: So, Ready at Dawn, how does it feel to have created the worldwide sensation De-Formers? We have not seen anything of this magnitude since Minecraft.

Ready at Dawn: Feels good, man.

Sony: Oh, for fuck's sake!

Looks like a lot of fun!
Gamestop-license isn't going to be bringing AAA titles, they can't invest the money into that quite yet.

Maybe this is a game inside a game and this is actually huge open world game..

Hard to believe?! ... ok :(

To be fair, they arrived at the "cinematic third person" thing about 5 years too late with The Order... at least they are more on trend looking for a more e-sporty type title.
