Nope, I'm not going to go through this again. You burned me one too many times TellTale.

Though I do wonder what they are going to do with Clem's story. Season 2 had three (or four) completely different possible endings, are they just going to hand wave those?

I don't understand how anyone
could allow Kenny to live after all the shit he does! Also I totally forgot that was a choice. Curious how much it mattered.

Better the devil you know. Both of the "choice" characters were crazy but I got the sense that he would always have Clem's back regardless. With a psychotic rage against a stranger here and there.

If the time skip is long enough you can really just refer to those choices in passing through dialogue, and basically just move Clem elsewhere for a new story.

I absolutely love Clementine, so I'm glad to see that so far there's a trilogy that tells her story.

My interest for Season 3 wouldn't be the same if we'd move away from her after the lackluster (but still mostly enjoyable) Season 2.

I want a proper sequel to the awesome emotional rollecoaster that was Season 1, and I want to see Clementine developed as a strong character like Lee was.

And not [Season 2 spoilers]
"Baby Clementine does everything instead of more capable adults because that's who we play as"
because it felt wrong, especially in a story-driven game.

Anyway, can't wait!

Looks great

I'm REALLY curious how they're going to handle the continuity from the different endings from season 2.

Also noticed the character shaders look a bit different. They look shinier. Not sure if it's an improvement or not yet.

It was FAR AND AWAY the best ending to season 2. imo it directly impacted how much you liked season 2. The other two endings are both terrible. And Jane was just as much a piece of shit as he was, so it was a very nice moral grey area. The devil you know or the devil you don't. Or neither.

Season 2 kinda stunk a bit. That said, I'm still in. I'll pick this up to follow Clementine's story further.

Her wee little finger :(

I hope Clem has actual agency in the story this time instead of being jerked around by adults making dumb decisions.

Visually, between this and those Batman screenshots, I'm just glad it seems Telltale has really spruced their tech game up. I love their writing but man, I'm playing through Game of Thrones for the first time now and that game looks bad.

I don't know, I didn't feel like the gimmick of continue playing from the S1 save worked for S2.

And I'm honestly fed up of the story by this point. I can't see how they could possibly make any sense of it since S2's endings are just too different.

The fact that they brought her back with some random new dude in this trailer doesn't give me hope on that.

I want my Clementine out on her own, fending for herself because adults are stupid adventure that I know I'm sadly not gonna get.
