Also to help you guys out with this deal Best Buy is doing a Buy One Gaming Currency Card and Get The Second 20% Off deal starting Sunday. Get more, pay less! :)

https://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/356782-best-buy-ad-619-625/

How does this work with the promotion? Could I get 2 $50 cards (for $90), turn around and spend $100+ on the PSN store and qualify for the $15 back? Or does the $100+ not apply to cards? And the $100+ applies to preorders, correct?

Also, Best Buy ships physical cards rather than emailing codes, right?

It sucks that sometimes they forget about dlc for these sales. I've been waiting on Dragon Age dlc to go down.

lol good luck

Bioware DLC almost never goes down. There are some sales here and there, but not even remotely as much as there should be. Years after release it costs more to buy previous Dragon Age/Mass Effect DLC than it does to buy the entire series of mainline games.

Is Hardline's campaign worth it for $5? I don't think I'll play the MP.

Same here. $5 worth it or nah?

I've been on the fence with Hardline since the beta, and I've skipped every opportunity to pick it up on sale at this point.

it works like you hope it works. :) It works on money spent on PSN, which loaded cards are money on PSN.

Where the deal wouldn't work is entering like a code that gives you Resident Evil VII (from like Amazon). Entering such a code wouldn't count as $60 spent. However loading $100 in PSN credit and then buying RE VII directly from PSN counts.

the most common scenario is where people buy PS Plus subscription cards from the store. If you buy your Plus subscription from PSN, it counts as $50 toward the $100 floor. But if you buy a PS Plus subscription card from the store and enter the code, you don't get $50 toward the $100.

You'd qualify for the $15 back using wallet funds. Using store cards is the best way to shop on PSN, Steam, etc as those cards can get discounted 10-30% if you are patient enough to wait for sales.

I just may have to pre-order South Park. Didn't realize the PS4 version of Stick of Truth is included so the games are actually $30 each

More like the "It's Been Cheaper Before Sale". Getting the feeling I'll never spend my $100 in PSN bux.

Might be time to finally try Dragon Age... Zestiria and MGSV look tempting at $30. Is MGSV good?

MGS's gameplay gets an upgrade over previous installments but the plot is an unfinished mess.

A great time I'm assuming to start pre-ordering games?

Does this stack? If I buy $200 will it give me $30 back?

I might as well pre-order Destiny DLC and No Man's Sky

To answer your second question, Best Buy only ships codes not emails them (I know I would buy so many cards from them if they did). So if you don't buy in store you'll probably miss this sale. So be careful.

Thanks for the responses. Any experiences on how long BB takes to ship the cards? Want to make sure to get them before this expires.

Saw above response - thanks.

WOW at some of these prices!

Dragon Age: 5.99
Battlefield 4: $4.79
Hardline: 4.79
Hyperdimension Neptunia VII 11.99
NFS Rivals 5.99
Shadow of Mordor: 7.99

Must resist....

Ugh, well I'm officially pissed at myself. I snagged this for $25 a couple years ago which was a ridiculous deal at the time and haven't touched it yet.

Lol goddammit. Guess I'll never play them then. I wonder why they do that.

Finally pulled the trigger on D3 -- this will be my first Diablo experience. Some of my friends have pumped insane hours into this thing, so I hope I enjoy it. :)

DA is okay, if a bit of a chore to play. If you still have an X1, just pick up EA access. Problem solved.

Its probably not a horrible idea on xone with a chance to get upgrades on scorpio (maybe) as well.

maybe can just hold off on it, do games roate out of their service or once they are in locked in?

So far they have not. You can sign up for the service at any time and all the games are in the vault.
