Is darksiders 2 worth it? I've heard some bad things such as, the framerate and inconsistant visual quality that's actually downgraded from last gen version.

I just bought 40 dollars worth of things yesterday (bloodborne and need for speed rivals)

PLEASE tell me this counts towards the 100.

Shadows of Mordor or Dragon Age?

Dragon Age was incredibly boring to me, but had a ton of stuff to do in the world (most if it felt filler to me). Combat was super boring.

I had a ton of fun with Mordor. The world is kinda bland but the combat was fun. Loved using all the skills available to you to wreck some chieftains.

We don't know yet. It would of been safer to wait until today (GAF was telling you a E3 sale was very likely today). Also NFS is on sale today.

Alien isolation for 11.99$ worth it? I'm not huge fan of this series..
I got Tomb Raider definitive edition for 5$ since i never played it before..Why not.

counterpoint:

If you like Dragon Age games / digging really deep into an RPG there's a ton of stuff to do there.

In Mordor it's a one trick pony. You're going to have a lot of fun hunting down your nemeses and strategically assassinating chiefs to put orcs loyal to you in various positions... until the game randomly decides to resurrect someone you're reasonably sure you killed two hours ago and they're invulnerable to every damage type.

The page says it started on the 13th. So it seems to count.

You have to be careful with sony's wording on these deals. It says between the 13th and 11:59 on the following Tuesday. In the past that meant not during the day of the 13th but any time between it and the end date/time. It was confusing enough that I just stopped buying stuff on the first day and waited until the next before I bought anything to be sure.

Really wish they had Battlefield 1 pre-order one that wasn't the rip off that is the "early enlister deluxe edition." I hope they end up adding it before the promotions is over because I want to go physical for everything else that interests me.

Speaking of which, am I the only one annoyed by all these deluxe editions with a few extra skins for a $20-30 markup. It seems like every game is doing it now.

Regarding what you said about Mordor, you're right. The game is pretty much just assassinating dudes and you don't do too much else.

There is a lot of lore in DA but the boring gameplay killed it for me. Customizing skills was a plus for me, but the feel of the gameplay was bland to me. Guess Soulsborne spoiled me.

I think I'll give Shadow of Mordor a go at that price, and maybe even Alien Isolation as well.

I need to up my PS+ as well, but I'm still $30 short and don't see anything that really interests me, so I'll pass on that.

I'm also confused if it's already a Monday why not just wait until the store publish on Tuesday (unless a sale ends on Monday- in this case there wasn't a sale).

Really interesting how Diablo 3 continously skirts away from being under $20

I'll probably grab Siren. Cant say no at that price.

AC Unity at $20CAD still seems pretty damn high for game that's almost two years old.

Also need to re-up my sub, and there doesn't seem to be any deals going on for that. Could do that and pick up something else for $50 to hit $100.

Well congratulations! You got yourself caught!
Shadows of mordor a good game?

Neat early on, gets tedious running about the bland world for a hunk of the middle section kind of doing the same tricks for hours, then picks up again right at the end when you gain access to some of the most malicious abilities to screw with the nemesis system. Enjoyable but certainly flawed, worth the sale price tho.

I'm wondering the same thing. I really liked MK9 and Injustice.

MKX is arguably a better fighting game, but I disliked everything else in comparison to MK9. Story mode especially was really dull. Graveyard was also way too tedious to unlock extras.

Still if you just want to fight, it's solid.

I'm not sure if anyone has asked or answered this question, but using previous wallet credit to buy something now should still count, right?
I just bought Shadow of Mordor using credit I had in my PSN wallet from months ago. Does that count towards the $100?

DAI is not the best RPG out there but for $6 it's hard to go wrong even if you only mess around with it for 20-30 hours.

Trails, Zesteria are worth it, IMO.

Yes!

This should be added to the OP, for people who don't know.
Yes! I was hoping they'd do this in October but this is perfect. Does it also stack?
Star Ocean Integrity and Faithlessness is now available to preorder too! Comes with a snazzy dynamic theme with gentle Sakuraba music.

I wish they'd stop locking dynamic themes behind preorders.

Surprised the Quantic Dream games arent on this list :/

Elder Scrolls Online. Any good?

I own it on PC but yes. Its a net little game, and has a nice community and the devs support the hell out of it. Pay once and jump in whenever you want.
