Someone at E3 is trying to dump the Zelda Wii U demo on an SD Card

There are some seriously fucking shameful posts in this thread.

Having an early work in progress build of something you spent (and will spend further) years of your life on released on the pirate bay is one of the worst things that can ever happen to you, just wait 6-12 months and you'll get the game you want from people who are crushing themselves to make it for you.

Agreed. Feel bad for all those involved.

You guys can literally go to the site he mentioned to see if he's telling the truth.

Hint: He's not. Jesus christ.

The video game lover side of me is not happy about this, but as a Wii U owner that was promised this game back in 2015 and has had to deal with years of delays and now probably end up with the inferior version, well kinda hard to feel bad about Nintendo on this one.

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free

You would have preferred a unfinished and worse version of the game instead ? So Piracy is okay because a game got delayed ? lol you guys...

Anyone with a Wii U could play it with Loadiine if they wanted. On one hand cool for archiving but bad since it's an unfinished pre release game so far.

How did this happen? Hopefully nintendo do the right thing and just release the demo on the Eshop so everyone can enjoy it.

Yeah, release an unstable, unfinished demo that could potentially damage people's consoles.

Stop being a fucking idiot.

You must be new to e3. (Its happened before, to Zelda even )

No it didn't... That leak was from a store kiosk demo months after e3, it just happened to be the same demos from e3 on the kiosk disc.

It did, however, happen to other games like star fox 2.

In one hand it's lame and unprofessional (to say the least) and probably fake, but in the other hand I hope it leaks to make Nintendo think that they could have at least planned to put a demo on the eShop for the Wii U owners.

No, but let's face it the only reason it hasn't been released yet is because it's being pushed for NX launch.

Because year after year people cry about not getting E3 demos on the eShop, and year after year they're told exactly why. It's getting tiresome.

And yes, I mean damage. As in bricking, as unfinished and unstable code can do. And let's not even start on the potential for opening up even more backdoors to hacking the console. All it takes is a buffer overflow...
