If you choose to believe this guy, fair enough. I'm not and neither did Tiggles (or whatever his name was). He actually said he'd not encountered most of the problems this guy has.
He demonstrated the issue with the upgrade on video. Twice. The second time, specifically going through each step slowly so that everyone watching the stream could see the buggy/unexpected behavior. It's not a matter of "choosing to believe" some guy.
You are suggesting that, although all other upgrades to the tool work exactly as they are described just by attaching them in the normal upgrade slots, this one particular upgrade type not only doesn't work but actually has the reverse effect that it states unless it's . . what? Placed in a particular Tetris shape?
Why are you so convinced that this pre-release game (that just had a major patch finished) couldn't possibly have a very common coding error where a + is placed where a - should be?
