Some Amazon reviews mention buzzing and in addition to that the fan ramps up quick and high. When other quality PSUs manage to stay below 1000rpm under heavy load I'd say that that one just isn't quite up to today's standards (or the smaller formfactor is to blame).

Thanks for the links. Reviews seem pretty good, with the coil whine / buzzing reports are not really matching my own issue (during extreme perf only). As far as I know, all SFX PSUs are fairly similar due to having a smaller fan, thus needing a higher RPM. I don't think mine has been loud at all thus far - with exception of the buzzing.

I'm still not certain where the buzzing comes from. I want to say its the GPU, but after 4 changes, this seems unlikely. Then I thought the PSU, and the issue is identical. I'm tempted to say mobo, but I have no idea. I'd have to take the machine apart and very carefully work it out.

.........but is it really worth the effort when it is seemingly only happening to an insane level with 3DMark? I don't know...

Does your CPU have a graphics chip? If yes use that and remove the big card to eliminate one potential source. Someone mentioned something about his sound(card) creating buzzing. Also maybe mentioned but how high are the framerates when it's happening? Like beyond 300 or so it's normal for a GPU to make some noise.

Yep its just another MOBA. Was really hoping Epic would do something different. Such a shame

Let's stop talking about FF XV and talk about more important things.

Like God Eater coming out in 2 weeks. Can't wait.
Hope the port is good and it does well. Confirmed 60fps and mouse support is a good sign at least.

My opinion about FFXV:

-the initial 15 seconds were interesting, game fade out to a useless scene in which the group pushes a car with Stand by me in the background. If that scene was mean to be emotional, it failed miserably.
-the game feels like an alpha. I mean, Episode Duscae runs and looks much better than this. And that was very unpolished and alphaish already.
-Locations are very bland. They remind me of MGSV open world, a thing I hated because it was useless, but at least even if it was empty, it was much more well looking that this. It seems SE just created those landscapes without nothing in the middle, and than they randomly placed some trees in and there. I mean, compare this to Dragon's Dogma, a PS3 open world game, still DD looks much better than FFXV.
-characters look like plastic dolls, they are all too...white? Dunno, it seems they shine, even in the crypt location, it's kind they are lighted.
-the downgrade is real. Compare those characters to FFXIII protagonists. I know, unfair comparison because FFXIII is on rail, but it looks again much better than FFXV.
-alterntive outfits are ugly as hell. But be sure the cool ones will come as additional, paid DLCs.
-combat system sucks hard, still too confusing, a mess. At least now it seems you can pause the game when using warp points, I think it's impossible in Platinum demo, right?

Here is a better one
Imagine good competent ports of dragon quest 1-8
If you drop "good competent", there is probably a chance to get the Android versions (I - V, VII) ported, with horrible overblown menus and totally broken scaling. (30 FPS goes without mention)

Oh.. wait a minute, the specific test that seems to do this is the 720p smartphone style test, so maybe (the "Time Spy" Dx12 demo doesn't work properly and gives an extremely low frame rate and score for no apparent reason, I assume a bug since it says drivers are not verified. That's Steam demo version hasn't been updated in a while). That would also explain the one in Unigine Valley only occuring on the last screen, which is a completely static image that is on screen for 2 seconds with a bunch of the developers names.

Good ideas to test the onboard graphics and eliminate a source.

Anyone picked up Inversus yet? I see it launched today and looks pretty interesting. Always in the mood for some easy multiplayer games for me and my friends.
