I'm hyped for the game but I have too say I'm disappointed at how they didn't change the way takedowns work. Just press a button and watch a small cutscene, and most of the time the animation is really dumb (like Adam just sucker punching the person) because it doesn't look like a stealth approach at all.

After so, so many games doing this much better, it's underwhelming.

Yeah, you should be able to get a lot higher with lower settings. The comparison between cards and vendors and APIs is what matters here though as it's unlikely that it will be much different even with lower settings.

Bold move to bench DX12 when devs have said that it's incomplete and will be patched in September.

The option is there so why not check it out? At least we can see now why they've postponed it.

I can say from these that MSAA is off, additional settings are set to Ultra, AF is at 8x, the rest is maxed out.

There are some interesting tests in there regarding CPU scaling on AMD and NV under DX11 and DX12.

Quite eye opening if you needed further evidence of really poor AMD DX11 drivers.

Without extensive testing we can't say for sure whether or not it's a bad port. The fact that with settings all cranked up it doesn't have great frame rates does not by itself indicate problems.

They used to be up there. Latest Tomb Raider port was mostly okay with some CPU choked areas, but MD looks very bad.
