Of course not, it came out last year.

What PS2 games are better than Dark Souls. Are even like Dark Souls. or "old school" like Dark Souls. Name them.
Well, let's see...
Onimusha
Devil May Cry
Devil May Cry 3
REmake
Ninja Gaiden
King's Field IV
Shadow Tower Abyss
Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven
Maximo
Viewtiful Joe
Shinobi
Contra
The game is literally not even a year old yet. It's way too early to be making such claims, especially since it's still on the extremely easy side of things in the "action" department. Even if it *is* one of the best of the current generation, this current generation is only three years old, so it still makes no sense for it to be on that list.

I think it's a better pick than what usually is selected, OoT. Tetris is pretty timeless.

Ok dude, if you think being one of the best games of a generation that is almost completing 3 years is not more impressive than being a garbage fighting game, I don't know what to tell you.
I don't agree with ROTR being on this list. I'm just saying that I think there are far worst offenders in it, yet half the posters in this thread choose to attack a game that is actually good.
TIME said:Interplays original Fallout arrived like a cloudburst after a PC roleplaying drought in the mid-1990s. But it took IP newcomer Bethesdas application of exhaustive, obsessively traditional roleplaying ideals tempered in its fantasy Elder Scrolls games to craft an experience in 2008 that surpassed the original in virtually every way.

Do you even understand what I'm talking about? Because it sure looks like I'm saying one thing, and you're talking about something entirely different.
Or any of those games. Did he just do a crtl + F through IGN review database for "hard games circa 2001-2006"
He seems to be under the impression that difficulty is the only notable aspect of Souls games
IDK I think TLOU is good and all, but it just has some good dialogue and story. Even comparing with something like ROTTR, Tomb Raider has way, way, way better gameplay and exploration elements. I dont think TLOU will be that well remembered a few years from now, maybe some people and magazines will forget about it.
As for your actual question: try reading the thread maybe, instead of just doing drive byes?
And lmao @ Bloodborne stans thinking their game belongs in the top 10

It's not, but apparently neither of you actually played most of the games on that list either, while claiming that I haven't, or that I haven't played a Souls game. The non handholding is one of the primary reasons the series took off, not simply because it was a "good action/aventure" game. It's like both of you are too hung up on the Demon's or Dark Souls that we got on the PS3 compared to what it would have been like had it been made pre 2006 when there were more games out that had either similar gameplay aspects, or were less "hold X to win" or constant checkpoint as the games today.

I don't know why Mortal Kombat is even on that list over Street Fighter 2. However, if you actually were around and playing games in the 90s, you can't rationally call it a "garbage game" compared to Rise of the Tomb Raider. You're just throwing objectivity out the window entirely. And really, if Rise of the Tomb Raider is "one of the best games of this generation", what does that say about this generation?

I'm outta here
He's not wrong about the gameplay and exploration, so I think his post deserves a little better than shitposts like these.
But hey, in a thread like this that's probably just me.

I agree with that no.1 choice. No really its probably the best no.1 I have seen for this type of list.
Edit: lol mk is on that list bit sf isn't.
Because mk is infinitely better than sf.
Shit posting at it's finest. When you respond with a gif it's clear you have no counter point
I don't care how much you like it. Mario 64 is not the 2nd best game of all time.
How are you going to pick Halo over Halo 2 with a straight face?
The fact that tomb Raiders entire overhaul was due to the success of a franchise that came from the same studio that made TLOU and including the fact that TLOU is one of the highest critically acclaimed games in gaming is what makes that entire statement ridiculous. Tomb Raider isn't doing anything different than the game that pretty much helped change its entire identity besides the things you listed... But TLOU will be more regarded in history than the ROTR will ever be and that's a fact.
So I guess you're going to ignore the rest of the sentence huh?
It's better than the Galaxy games. Deal with it.I don't care how much you like it. Mario 64 is not the 2nd best game of all time.
