She doesn't appear in DA2Shitmountain and Spanish Inquisition plays 10 years after the events of Oranges. If Flemeth gets to look like a stupid anime character, I think Morrigan, as a shapeshifter, redesigning her look is not soo out of character.

But i was just wondering who has Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator, and if I should have it or not?

I dont have the steam app on my phone, and I already have my mobile number connected with steam.

It looks secure, but I feel li wont remember my recovery pw.

I use Keepass for all my passwords and I have the Recovery Code saved in the comment box of the Steam entry. If you don't use Keepass (or a password manager), you could maybe take a screenshot of the code, and then store that safely on a PC, or print it out and keep it with personal belongings (like birth certificate, passport, etc.).

And, yes, it's pretty secure I think. :)

Absolutely use it imo. The small amount of hassle to type in a 5 digit code could end up saving hundreds or thousands of dollars worth of purchases.

The recovery password is supposed to be written down but can also be pulled up at any time in the app.

You should probably use it. It can be a bit of an annoyance sometimes, but it's a very secure authentication method and it's always better to be safe than sorry.
Write down your recovery password on a piece of paper (like, real world paper, not Windows Notepad paper ;)) and put it somewhere you'll remember.

As others have said, you get a recovery code that you must keep so you can gain access to it if the worst happens like for phone falling and breaking.

Today I start with FFXIII. I am pretty excited. bought the whole trilogy in the last steam sale. I know people say it is bad but I want to experience it first hand. I played through all the main entries from the FF-saga except III. I simply cannot leave them out. wish me luck.

I've gone back to the DS4 over my Xbox One pad for now. That's how badly you've broken your pad MS, I'm using a third party controller and a third party app that currently requires a jerry rigged fix, and it's still more convenient.

Granted, part of this is that I'm playing shitty Koei Tecmo games that can't recognize the One pad wirelessly, but it should still be easier to use the One pad, and it isn't. Give me in a 360 pad mode or something.

Bah, I keep forgetting DA2's "ten year" thing; I don't think it entered my mind once in my 60+ hours of DAI-ing.

If they never told players it happened no one would ever know. There's absolutely no continuity to DA2's story. And this sucks, because it was one of my biggest draws for buying it; it sounded so promising...

Asscreed games it's like, oh I've had 3 scenes with this guy but now we're best friends because time skipped to a new year and I totally forgot what the previous year even was.

a few games are pretty good about it

i think the last of us was really good at that

also grim fandango, breath of fire 3, final fantasy tactics and uhh i think that's all i got

but yeah it's rare, sadly

just seems to be kind of hard to pull off for games cos taking away control generally feels bad (for example the mafia 2 montage scenes for timeskips)

On that Sierra bundle, seem they won't add new games the second week? Was thinking that maybe the remake of the first Gabriel Knight would be added. Though the new one doesn't seem to have anything to do with Sierra or Activision?

Yeah, but a year or two is still somewhat acceptable. Passing a decade with the characters looking identical is just terrible. I mean, Hawke was like in his 20ies at the beginning, shouldn't he or she show some grey hairs when he/she hits 30? And this is true for every NPC. I feel like the mother is the only character to actually get old.
The game is just so lazy on every front. Defintely BioWares worst game. From the terrible premise (make a full fledege sequel to DA:O in a year or two.), to the terrible setting (put it into a boring city with a boring backstory), to the terrible execution (big moments that are completely predetermined
( your mothers ridiculously dark death scene)
that fall completely flat).
How EA gave them the time and money to make Inquisition is beyond me. I guess the new CEO is no longer totally comic book evil?

The only good thing about ff13 is the combat system
Eveyrthing else about the game is uninspired and droll
Dont take the plot all too seriously too btw
Also dont upgrade ur weapons until late game
Sabateours are among the beat roles in the game abuse them when possible

Well, finally finished Mankind Divided after having the subway glitch fixed. Great game, probably my favourite of the year.

A couple of missteps in places, but I don't understand the largely deflated scores for this over HR; way more 7s =/

I can sympathise with those who say it is too short though.
My steam timer shows 17 hours after finishing the main campaign and doing all of the side missions bar 4, and I didn't try to rush through them.

Any game that you could pay money to be unbanned is shady to me. And do they honestly think their game is worth that much?

Well, I've just reported the game as Fraud, giving the link to Reddit in the comments box. If it's a legit complaint, then Valve should be warned about it, so I would advise others to do the same and report it. If it's a false story (it is Reddit, after all), then the developer/publisher will be able advise Valve and post on the official Steam Discussion board explaining the issue.

Good morning SteamGAF. Gotta say, Elite Dangerous is pretty fun, and looks gorgeous even on my Alpha. My only problem so far was a glitch where the sun disappeared and thought I was way out from it but then started taking heat damage.

My steam doesn't launch anymore, it opens and says quickly says updating steam/verifying installation, goes to connecting to account then it disappears completely. Nothing in task manager it just disappears..

There is no more clientregistry.blob to delete either so I can't fix it that way. Tried restarting computer but didn't help either. Can't find anything on steam discussions so it seems to just be me. I am in the beta but reading nothing about other people having it in the beta discussion.

Anybody know what to do? I can try deleting everything besides steam.exe and steamapps but I'd rather not.

Speaking of Aragami, I really want that game to be good. Tenchu was awesome and anything following those footprints is off to a good start.
