Guess we'll see how it goes with recore on the 13th.
Had to cancel my ultimate edition today. Called up MS and was told it was a physical copy. I wanted digital so I can get the W10 version as well. Bummed about it, because I had got it with an E3 deal so it was $30 off. On the look out for deals now.
None of the play anywhere stuff comes in physical for PC, and if you read their site it states it's a digital only initiative. Sucks but that's how it goes.
No real deals to be had outside of getting Xbox credit on sale, which is why I stocked up at Best Buy during their last discount. There might be something where you get Xbox credit back through Xbox Rewards, but it's usually some bullshit like "Buy 3 $60 games and get $10 back!"

I have never seen or noticed this 108.1MB on my system, I have had the yellow UE pinned on my dashboard since I pre-ordered a couple of months ago, this is my posts from the other day of the screen-shots I took (I took them on my phone, I don't know another way of doing it).

If you go to the store and click on the UE then it may download I don't know, it maybe worth a try?
It will never show on the dashboard as the UE, I have Forza 6 UE (digital) Horizion 2 UE (digital) and they just show as the 'normal versions'
When I click on FH3 it just says they know I cannot wait to play, but it's not released yet.
I knew that going in, but I thought the Ultimate edition was digital only. It was that way for Forza 6. I just assumed it would be the same this time. My bad, live and learn.

Hopefully those wheels that were added to the Win10 anniversary update will be compatible with the game.
I had the 40MB package pre-loaded and thought it would load the rest after seeing the full pre-load here today, but it didn't bother to install the full version.
So I went on and uninstalled the previous download and re-installed it again and boom, now its loading 46GB. Pretty weird!

It actually seems legit (just 100% verifying now), but the email was only sent as Bsigg12 signed up for a certain online survey about racing games.

Maybe? It's iffy to be honest. I buy it, and it works for me.
I like the car list this year. The extra credits on level up is nice. Plus, FH2 gave you a 50% discount for Storm Island, but we have no idea if something similar will be available this time around.
If you're handwringing because the extra cost matters to you, skip it without much worry. Otherwise, if you plan to play FH3 for a year+, you'll probably be glad you got it.
Hmmm demo coming next week?? Not on the 12th it seems now, looks like we have conflicting sources here with the GAME preston leak.

That article says "next week" but then specifically references September 12?
I'll be surprised if it's not 9/12 considering the in-store signage we've seen.
Yeah that's what has me confused. 12th isn't next week haha. Maybe they just got confused? The 12th seems like a much more likely date.

It should update to the full game before release.
I ordered the Ultimate Edition a few days ago, I searched for Forza in the Windows Store, clicked on the UE version in the suggestions, there was no Install button, then on the UE page it says what it contains, so I clicked on Forza Horizon 3 and I could install it, but for now it's a placeholder.
It's the same for ReCore by the way.

Yep, Halo 5: Forge Edition is up as well I think, but it's unaccusable unless you use the direct link.
And this morning when I got up it was back to the 108MB placeholder
I let it download fully and then it was back to 4MB again apparently, really weird! I plan to play on PC anyway but just wanted to have it on the xbone as well.

Tried to preload last night, it started downloading 40+ gb, cool, I walk away and come back and check later and it stopped downloading and went back to the 140mb file. lol...

I bought a code off amazon, I know it's cross buy with xb1/w10. I want to play it on PC. Where should I redeem it at?
Doesn't matter if you redeem it on PC or Xbox; it will be tied to your MS account.
Nice, plus confirmation that it detects Xbox store purchases already - on that page it shows up for me as "You own this" instead of a buy button.
