Maybe they are showcasing the NX to Gamestop people but not yet to the public. That wouldn't really warrant a public announcement.

If that's the case then we should probably expect leaks within a week or so, assuming it's not fully revealed soon.

He better not be trolling, but this is the week I expect at least a reveal date, Nintendo has to say something about the freaking thing come on now

Why does this always seem to happen to us as Nintendo fans? We'll all be anticipating something, some guy will come along and give sly remarks that indicate something might be happening and then it either turns out he was just joking around or it was cranky kong/some other disappointment. I wish this Kevin Pereira stuff was true but we all know that he's just joking around or it won't be anything as big as what we think it'll be and then we'll all be on board for the next disappointment.

We need to stop letting this happen to us... that said I can't help but be excited by all this :/

I have a buddy of mine who's attending the conference and he's very doubtful that anything substantial is going to be shown. He says it's usually demos and stuff of what's already been announced, never strategy or exclusive reveals.

As a person who's waiting for a reveal I'm interested in the possibility of some small anecdote, but I'm not expecting anything substantial at all.

But what if they reveal it tomorrow and show it on the 14th to the Gamestop people? I know....extremly unlikely and like always, we will be fooled again.
Time zo buy some tissues...again.

Not to be a wet blanket, but I think I read earlier in this thread that he usually presents Nintendo's offerings at this show. With the leaks PS had previously from this show, and with the degree of lockdown NX has been under, I don't think they would risk that by showing it off here unless it's unveiled to the public prior or at the same time

It would leak immediately. There's no benefit to show it to GS employees behind closed-doors and then wait on a public reveal.
