Drew Mehringer is def shook, incredibly risky hire and it hasn't paid off one bit, dumb ass decision of the year to make this recruit night imho.

Eh, it's not like it was a big secret that replacing Chip was going to be basically impossible.

The entire conference has been a pretty big mess coaching-wise for the past 3-4 seasons.

EDIT: The funny part is that Oregon's going to lose by 50+ and it won't even be the biggest beatdown of the evening.

At this point im confident even rutgers could put up 10+ points on Oregon

We went with a Flood-esque coaching staff again.

All names that haven't had continued success and don't have much experience.

Mehringer didn't do much at UH, he called plays 1 year at James Madison.

Rutgers got baited and switched again much like they did with Josh McDaniels little brother.

I'm pretty sure the high school down the street could put up points on Oregon.

Still, the defense is young, so that's something.

Granted ive only watched amybae 5 quarters or oregon football, but theyre showing nothing positive. It looks like they dont have anything to even build on.

Our linebackers are actually better if you can believe it, and with all the attrition in the secondary I'm not surprised it's a mess.

Washington shredded the much better Stanford defense too, though not as egregiously.

But yes, they suck.

Man as a long suffering UW alum and fan (had season tickets for the 0-12 season) this feels...incredible. Thank god for Chris Petersen.

Road conference wins are hard to come by, great job by the team. On to the bye - get healthy and rested and get ready for a tough second half schedule.

Clay Helton knows all about how tough road wins are. 2-7 on the road, 6-0 at home.

Each entry in Oregon's four-game skid has been a little worse. Third straight week the Ducks have allowed 250+ rushing *and* 300+ passing.

Brady Hoke ladies and gents!

Yeah, I know. I was expecting some growing pains. In time I'm sure the new hire will pay off. Let's be realistic. There's no way they were going to win a title immediately with him at the helm.
Right, not with a true freshman QB and all the problems on the OL. The whole team is very young. 2018 is about the first year you could see that start to be a possibility. Next year should be improved but Eason in his junior year and with a bigger OL could be special in 2018.
