Revolution was in magazines and other media for a while; as was Dolphin and Reality. I don't know about SNES cause I was like two when it launched. However, the DS was the codename announced to the public which went on to become the official name. (Although internally it was Nitro.)

I don't think Café was ever revealed to the public and it was just announced as the Wii U.
