Anyone remember an arcade game made by Jaleco I think, was like crazy taxi but you were delivering pizza?

that's the one! Brings back memories

Also, Sengoku 3 on Wii VC? Might have to check it out!

There's also a Sengoku Anthology (with all the three games bundled in) for the PS2 - it only came out in some PAL territories, though - if you have 250/300 euros to throw away on eBay.
Or 5/10 for the PC equivalent lol.

Wow, I didn't expect to see so many awesome suggestions when I started this thread!

There are quite a few games here that I've never heard about. It's absolutely crazy and a bit depressing that some of those have never been ported to consoles and would've been gone forever if it wasn't for emulation.

Here's another one:

I already posted Fixeight and Outzome :p

Was Dangar UFO Robot ever ported ?

Sequel to the immensely popular Terra Cresta and prequel to Terra Force (which was never ported either, I think ?)

I loved Nichibutsu shooters where power ups made your ship bigger and badder.
For kids who grew up with 80s Japanese anime, playing with ships that transformed and combined into a badass robot was a dream come true.

Speaking of which, I don't think Konami's Finalizer was ever ported either, unless I missed some Japanese only compilation or obscure digital release on modern consoles.

I see.

Dangar UFO Robot was never ported so that counts. Finalizer came to the 360 and PC in 2010 for Microsoft's Game Room service, in fact it was one of the 1st ones on that service.

Here's another:

ESP Ra.De.

There's an arcade beat 'em up staring cowboys which is the only arcade game I ever actually completed in person. I don't think it was ever ported and I cannot remember the name or the maker for the life of me.

It's not been posted in this thread either and if I google for it I can never seem to find it. You'd get items by smashing barrels and it had semi realistic looking sprites.

Here's another:

ESP Ra.De.

Wut ?
I thought for sure it had been ported or at least included in some compilation with its pseudo sequels Espgaluda and Espgaluda 2.

Real shame, I think it's one of the best shooters ever, everyone should go play it right now.

What about those games that were never ported and are not currently emulated either ?

Like the stunning Vertexer i mentioned a couple pages earlier or this

Konami's Overdrive

Wait. There was a Rastan 3 and I didn't even know about it?

Probably because it was called Warrior Blade or something and it became a brawler.
It's a better game than Rastan 2.
Then again a lot of things are better than Rastan 2, including being stabbed.

Yeah I wonder why it was never ported to consoles or even PC. And here's why:

"ESP Ra.De. is an awesome game that sadly, was never released outside of Japan, or ported to any platform. Cave has confirmed that there are rights issues with a home port due to publishing issues with Atlus, who had handled the arcade distribution."

I dont think Rumble Fish 2 was ever brought home.

Good choice, it's 1st one was good and got a port on PS2, shame the sequel didn't.
