Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
I enjoy when complaints don't logically line up.

Oh, this game is awful, it's no different from last year's great version.

Obama has changed everything. He's also done nothing.

weird, I had a 760 about a year ago and I wasn't able to hold any decent framerate on new games without dropping everything to 1080p/low and medium. BF1 must be optimized really damn well.

BF1 has incredible optimization. I'd say it looks and runs better than BF4 did for me. It's the pinnacle of the Frostbite engine and the programmers at DICE Sweden are magicians at their craft.

How accurate are these last online times for steam? I have a buddy who's last online time has been acting really weird for me on my friendslist, and now I'm wondering if he's blocked me or if it's just Steam being screwy. I don't think he's blocked me, or if he did I don't think it'd be on purpose.

Basically it seems like he's consistently logging off when I get online, or switching to show offline because his last online time is always a few minutes after I turn on my pc. But the weird thing is if I restart the steam client his last online time on my friendslist flips to two days ago.

If I sperg out and check his last online time via a shared friends profile while not logged in on my browser it shows his last online time as 3 days ago. Is he actively blocking me or is Steam's last seen online counter in the friendlist screwy and he's just been offline for multiple days?

The "Last Online" times in the client reset if your connection to Steam drops.

I don't think these trolls work as intended. Like, Nintendo releasing Mario 3 on Steam is practically at the bottom of the list of things that "Mario 3 released on Steam" could represent for me.

So, what happens when I see this and click the link is that, in the moments while the page loads, I'm left wondering how someone pushed through a rom dump to the store.

I'm disappointed either way, so you win. I guess I just want to make sure you're disappointed, too.

I only really read the meme/funny Steam reviews. Not terribly helpful otherwise, though they can let you know if a game is broken in some way.

Is steam as a movie service even working out well for valve?

I guess if anything it's like a low effort addition that shouldn't affect much.

The problem here is the wording. They call it an exclusive.

The wording could be interpreted as "the 2-pack called The Nonary Games is exclusive to PS4/PSV". It probably makes more financial sense to release them this way physically. I'd be shocked if 999 and VLR didn't come to Steam at all. They'd essentially be killing the long-term sales of ZTD.

Technically, it's just the pack that is said to be exclusive. The phrasing is probably deliberate.

did ZTD flop? I guess I'm part of the problem but I mean why am I gonna buy the third game in the series when I haven't played 1 and 2. They should have released this first, then ZTD. But that would make way too much sense I guess.

It's sitting at around 21k as per SteamSpy, which strikes me as rather respectable considering the Halloween Sale marks the first time it's been discounted and SteamSpy has a few-day lag.

Anyone who says ZTD sales on Steam are too low is out of their goddamn mind. Why would people buy the third game in a series when the first two aren't on the platform yet and there actually is a story link between them all?
