I'm voting for Hillary, but I hope it's close enough to put dems on edge. I really hate the smugness of my own party even more than god-fearing GOP platitudes.

If I had to predict tho, I think Trump gets like 30-34% of the vote at most. It's smelled like that since primary season.

I don't get why a blue state Nevada is your dream when you also think that a red state Nevada is actually going to happen. Do you just not like Nevada?

My dream scenario is not a Trump blowout, but a narrow victory where the Democrats win the swing states with high latino populations, but he still wins because of white labor Democrats in the midwest completely rejecting Hillary Clinton.

I think that outcome sends the best message.

High latino turnout would win both Nevada and Florida.

Which message, you should have picked Bernie or Hillary should be in jail? Or something else?

Either way, if you believe the outcome will send a message, I hope you see the message if Trump gets blown out, that maybe it's time for your party to rethink certain things.

I'm pretty confident in Florida. NC... could be a coin flip but I'm leaning toward Dems who are sick of McCrory's shit to show up.

Obama's supposed to campaign in MI to shore that up. He just needs to remind them who bailed their asses out in 2008.

Polls have shown NC is a mess from their messes. People are voting Trump but Democrat for state positions. They're just upset McCrory lost them money, but they still want Trump. Never forget how conservative the Carolinas are.

Florida is unlikely. Cubans skew Republican.

What message is that?

Don't worry. We Michigan folks love Democrats. Guarantee you MI will be blue.

The House chooses the Pres.

Yep. If no candidate reaches 270, the house chooses between the top 3 (if more than 2 candidates receive electoral votes). It's happened before, but it's been a while. In 1824, John Quincy Adams was selected despite having fewer electoral votes than Andrew Jackson. In that election 4 candidates received electoral votes.

Here's what I got...

I'm being 'pseudo-pessimistic' because I know Trump winning is a possibility, however, I'm pretty confident of Clinton taking it based on exit polling.

I'd love to wake up on Wednesday after a total landslide but I just don't think it'll happen like some have suggested.

Nevada? Just curious, but what is your rationale there?

Yea I mean Jon Ralston (check him out on Twitter) is a NV reporter and has amazing details on early voting results... right now the Dems are beating their 2012 #'s and still have time to go.

The Latino and Women's vote is going to sink Trump - if Hillary wins, it will be because of that.

there's definitely a good chance hillary wins the state (and i hope she does) but a lot of polls show trump ahead

That Sanders would have been the better candidate.

Eh, I like Sanders, but him being the better candidate is debatable.

As far as the message, not sure what worth it would have when you'd be turning the supreme court over to right-wingers for three decades. That would essentially guarantee no progressive reforms or progress, regardless if the dems took the presidency back in 2020 with a more progressive candidate. Dems already have zero to no shot of taking the house back until 2030, so a Trump win at this point would secure a conservative paradise for decades in the US.

You'd be cutting off your nose to spite your face in order to send a meaningless message.

Even if Trump wins, there's a high chance that he'll be impeached.

No one who is mentally sane would want that douchebag as President, not even someone like Congress.
