I think people will point to his failure to tackle the banks and inequality as the mistake that led to Trump.
I wonder if congressional deadlock will be remembered. Or if the rise of Trump will be pinned on Obama alone.

Hillary won't concede tonight. What a fucking joke of a candidate.

A perfect fuck you to her honestly, this is exactly why everybody hates her so much, even more so than trump from the polls.

I am happy I live in Canada thank god, holy hell what a joke clinton has become.

He'll stop himself from getting large tax cuts?

Don't believe his lies gif works so well here.

I could have sworn I saw a video of him on a talk show once talking about how the super rich are getting away with murder with their low tax rates, but after a Google search all I'm is a proposal he made in 1999 to do a huge one-time tax on the wealthy. So maybe I'm just remembering totally wrong.

Wow if Hilary doesn't end up giving a speech and just hides face she's going to look like a sore loser like (predicted) Trump would've been. She's better than this, she needs to come out.

The main thing is that the facility she has for her speech is not meant to be open all night and her supporters are still there waiting. The Clinton campaign has gone completely dark.

trump said the US media was rigged in hillary's favour, he was right...the polls lied saying HIllary was ahead when it is now obvious she was not.

America had a chance to prevent this by voting Bernie over HIllary. When it voted hillary over Bernie this was an obvious possible result. People arent that stupid, they voted to get rid of establishment hegemony at all costs no matter who was on the card. It should have been Bernie, but that is pretty moot at this point.

An indictment of what American politics has become. A reality TV shitshow pandering to the lowest common denominator.

You made your bed, America. Now sleep in it.

I think he spoke out against China manipulating its currency and ripping America off and stealing jobs, etc. He's has been critical of China. I think Trump will keep Asian bases at the very least as bargaining chips. I'm not sure how much power he would have over removing bases even if he wanted to because Republican leadership wouldn't be for it.

I think there's more concern to be worried about Trump being too aggressive with China and NK and possibly starting something than him actually pulling out of Asia because countries don't pay up to keep American bases.

You mean more aggressive than Hillary? He needs to declare a war to achieve that.

I've had no sleep. British middle class white guy here, wondering what kind of awful world his son is growing up in.

2016 has basically drained every shred of faith I had in mankind.
British, middle class white guy here genuinely questioning if I would now ever want to father children and bring them into a world that seems to be becoming less compassionate and tolerant by the month.

Final nail in the coffin on slowing climate change then? Wonder how many species will go extinct thanks to this election. Oh right - "clean coal".

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
Did that poster vote for Trump to slight you?

Don't take it out on him. Lucky he even went out to vote.
If he voted for Trump he was at the very least slighting me, my family, my friends, LBGT, and women, in general. Period.

The media didn't want Bernie elected, so it was never gonna happen. Without the coverage or the backing, he can't get the votes.
