But all three branches will be owned by the same party, and they largely share the same ideology (with the bonus of having a POTUS that will pretty much rubber stamp anything coming to his desk). The Media enabled the election to turn out this way. They could have buried Trump in the Primaries when it wasn't just Him versus Her. They didn't bury Trump though because he was viewed as the loser while other Republicans were dangerous to Clinton.

When it came down to Trump versus Hillary it was too late to try and bury him. Both Candidates were hated at historic levels so it was the purest case of lesser evil election.

I'm truly horrified. My sister, who has epilepsy, is freaking out because if Obamacare gets repealed she won't be able to afford the battery change in her brain implant. That brain implant is currently her only hope at having a life, because without it she has to be on so many pills it basically makes her a zombie. She can't work and can't drive without that brain implant, and without Obamacare she can't pay for the operation to replace the battery every ~2 years. I don't know what to say to her.
