i like how nobody's really made note that they're actually going to have a story mode this time around

that seems like kind of a huge deal for this series, especially

SFV's story was pretty disappointing, but maybe the Marvel magic will help elevate this one.

It wouldn't make sense to not have captain America in this game.

Although I always saw him as the leader/figure head.

Iron man always felt kind a wack (to me) to have as a promotional character (although I realize his popularity)

I really don't like how much cheaper the intro movie looks compared to the MvC3 ones. Reminds me of the awful cheap looking SFV intro.

Netcode better be top notch Capcom. It's 2016, no more excuses, no more colored bars instead of numerical ping.

What do you guys think of the potential of Variable Cross being back since it is 2v2? It was pretty broken in MVC1, but doing something like not having infinite meter or just allowing 1 super might make it more balance (probably not balanced at all but it would be interesting).

Tvc was an amazing game that was competitive. The game never got patched and it was stuck in the wii. That's why it wasn't competitive.

I dunno about this whole 2v2 thing. MvC, MSH, & TVC were never very popular competitive games & for good reason. This feels like TVC2 in the making. 2v2 just isn't that hype.

The game has Marvel in its name. Unless the game is COMPLETE ASS, it will be fine popularity-wise

merged with the boss of Ghosts n Goblins... Astaroth

Nothing says Ultron and Sigma (if that's him too) aren't playable themselves. We're just speculating that the final boss may be some sort of Onslaught-esque amalgamation of the two, which actually makes a lot of sense since they're both motivated by the same hatred for humans.

Hoping that the no-X-Men thing doesn't pan out or at least changes over time. The name Infinite suggests that this will be the one game this generation and it'll be supported by seasons like Killer Instinct and SFV.

I can't have a Marvel without my main Sentinel, no way.

Do you mean to say that the SFV cinematic story mode had a budget? Don't know about that. Maybe it will have more since Disney would want that?

The SFV cinematics looked cheaper than the SF4 cinematics, as well. Maybe they just had a smaller budget. Having a ton of completely amazing CG trailers didn't help SFxT sell, after all.
