No need to be so defensive jeez.

All I'm saying is that if you appreciate top notch graphics and frame rate, PC would be so much better.

Not trying to start a pc vs. console war (I love console games, Destiny, etc.). I'm just saying that getting a PC if graphics matter pays off.
People prefer to play on console ecosystem and don't prefer playing on their PC simple as. These driveby posts are ridiculous
If people wanted it they'll get it they don't need you to tell them.

I need this beta and I never get chosen to these betas despite registering within the first 10 minutes every time. So annoyed. I have a pro and I'm a good tester. I should've gotten in haha.

FRAME PACING remember. It won't fix that.

I suspect that depends on the root cause of the frame pacing issues. If a game is trying to maintain a steady 30fps by using every other frame of a 60Hz display (1-3-5-7-9) and one of the frames takes too long to render then the game can employe several strategies: flip mid-refresh and get frame tearing, slip everything by a frame (1--4-6-8-10), wait for the next opportunity in the intended frame sequence (1---5-7-9) or try to get the following frame rendered in time to catch up (1--45-7-9.) If successful, this last approach still results in 30fps but uneven frame pacing – and a faster system could make this happen less often or eliminate it altogether.

Holy shit this is a megaton.

Look forward to seeing how it improves the performance of non-pro supported games. (Bloodbourne in particular)

I'm with you dude.

Curious how they'll handle quality control for this. Console platforms have stringent TRCs and a carefully mandated user experience for good reasons, allowing the system software to potentially break games that are tied to the clock rate would effectively be pissing all over that.

Maybe a software blacklist of some sort?

Can't wait to see Until Dawn comparisons

I don't have concfrete proof [video footage], but I just started playing it and it looks like framedrops are ironed out. I'm continuing to play in Amateur mode, since I want to find a clear area where framerate is compromised and then quickly compare the modes.
