Yeah, it's Activisions fault that Bungie agreed to those terms?
Exactly. They agreed to the terms obviously. I suppose they felt they were getting something valuable enough up front to go ahead and make a deal like this.

I wouldn't worry about amount of content. There are over 1000 people working on this game
Activision investment safety?
Activision investment safety?
Hopefully it's skill based and not "grind for 400 hours for the one shot kill gun and win" based.

I really do hate Activision cause this is fucked up.
I think people are forgetting this game was "scheduled" to hit last year. It's not like 2017 was the plan the whole time.
Too many cooks
Nowadays I dont think this has a meaning -

Destiny 1 taught me to keep my expectations low, but man, I hope Bungie finds their footing finally.
Yeah? I just find it annoying.Always wildly entertaining to see how severely out of touch some of you are when it comes to the business side of things

Super stoked this is happening. Whenever they confirm a date I basically don't need another game during the first few months after its release.
500+ hours easy on original Destiny.
Beards confirmed too for new character creation. Woot!
Yeah. I never understood that mentality that large teams = bad. Games are major production efforts now.OR not. Assuming because there are a lot of people working on the game = bad shouldn't be assumed
Nothing useful said about Destiny 2 in the main part of the call outside of confirming a strong post launch support plan.
Q&A soon.
I look forward to buying this in 3 years when the final DLC comes out for like $40.
...Yeah, I'm still a little salty about Destiny 1.

Did you feel AC Unity was low content?
Wait what? Where were beards confirmed?
Shipping another half-assed game confirmed. Please buy the actual game over the course of 2 years after for another $100 bucks. I'll probably wind up with a copy because every human I know will own it, but my hype is zero, along with my faith in Bungie.
And they managed to put out a giant open world games in a little over a year.
Destiny 2 is 3 years of dev time. 2 years for main team which moved to it just after The Taken King
Yeah but with your posts that doesn't say anything other than you have no idea what your talking about. There's nothing saying it's going to be rushed.Shipping another half-assed game confirmed. They never lost it. Rise of Iron was a fantastic expansion. They found their footing around 2015 but then lost it again in 2016.
I'm okay with those terms from Activision. You have to secure your investment especially after all the shit that Destiny 1 went through with the story changing last minute, and the delays with the expansions.
Happy about the character stuff reset tho. And that comes from a active Y1 player.
It's a 2017 release. It's mandatory for the game to have PRO support. Please Playstation 4 Pro support and make it 60fps.
Bungie <3
Cod WW
Star Wars
Destiny 2
RdR 2
RIP wallet.
And even Destiny is on loan.
Doubt it since kb/m vs controllerHope it has cross platform play. 2 friends only play it on PS4 while I'd only do PC
How do you even come to that conclusion? Acti allowed Bungie to delay the game for a whole year so they could add more content. These are just contract negotiations that both sides agreed to.
Did I miss where this was confirmed?
