Says a tweet that disappeared? I think if anything this is the clearest hint we had wrt exclusivity so far: It is not contractually bounded to be exclusive indefinitely.

Basically a rundown of what's happened.
-Crash appears on a road sign in a PS4 commercial and people lose their minds and start hoping Sony got the rights to Crash Bandicoot from Activision. Others remark it would be a waste of time for Sony and that Crash is a relic of the past and should stay there.
-Sean Layton teases everyone at PSX 2015 with the Crash Bandicoot shirt adding more fuel to the fire.
-Uncharted 4 has a playable Crash Bandicoot stage.
-Crash Bandicoot remasters announced for PS4 at Sony's E3 2016 conference.
-Shown again at PSX 2016 and named N' Sane Trilogy.
-Given a release date with only PS4 listed in the trailer.
-Immense port begging begins.

Sony sees a PS4 timed exclusive also as an exclusive, so that tweet doesn't say that much.
It's been a while but didn't Shawn Layden say it was coming to PS4 first on the announcement at E3?
People on here say 'of course it is an exclusive', but why though? It's an Activation IP, it makes more sense for them to release it on all platforms so that the IP can grow. Sony is just a good partner for Activation, since they will make a huge marketing campaign around it.

Exactly, what matters is that I will be able to play it on my PS4 this summer
Because Sony owns the original source code even though the games are remade.

Why? Even tekken is releasing to steam and the first 6 titles are all PS exclusive.

You know some exclusives games to PS4 didn't have the "Only On PlayStation".
The only half-reasonable argument for it being exclusive was the Playstation Ireland tweet, and that got deleted pretty fast.
They didn't though. Whoever manages their facebook community page did, and i'm pretty sure that community managers aren't exactly up to par on the future of the game.
Once again, if it was actually exclusive Sony would shout it from the rooftops and call it a exclusive at every moment. Why do you think Playstation Ireland deleted their tweet? It's obvious that it is going to be multiplatform.

Yeah timed exclusive seems the most likely. Even if it does go multiplat, it'll almost certainly make most of its sales on PS4 due to the brand nostalgia.

My guess is it's timed or if sales are great it'll be ported.
It's weird tho because if they want to do CTR that belongs to Sony I believe, just seems messy and weird to not just throw everything on PS4/PC and then if it's a hit, start the franchise over on everything.

FFX HD is another example, at this point people should just stop believing in anything Sony says as apparently ni no kuni 2 is exclusive to them (it's actually not).
Ni No Kuni 2 was never announced or said to be exclusive, it was announced to be having its console debut on the PS4.

Console debut means something but not exclusive... they were clear at announce... you can watch on YouTube how many times you want but some guys sees to hear "exclusive" out from no where.
PS. Funny my NiOH example was quoted by some guys but the same didn't happen with Bloodborne... weird.
