Because framerate seems to be dipping just as much on the Switch version as it does on the Wii-U version. We'll just have to wait for some official measurements.

I just played the first few minutes of the leaked WiiU version and honestly, I can´t see a difference to the Switch version.

Just yesterday I watched these Gamersyde videos on the same TV and they look absolutely the same:

Same LoD, same Textures, same LoD in distance.

I think in the end it just come down to resolution, framerate (?) and improved audio on Switch.

Skyward Sword = Green tunic, blue overworld.

Breath of the Wild = Blue tunic, green overworld.

It must be balanced.

I'm really curious to know what kind of setups GAF has where I keep seeing comments like this. I mean, in my own house, my couch is against one wall and my TV the other, so yeah running a cord through the middle of my living room would cause problems. But at my parents' house, they have their TV, then a coffee table, then their couch, then about 4-6 feet behind the couch for people to walk. But in either case, normally someone would have the manners to alert you to the intent of walking in front of your line of sight when you're watching a movie or playing a game (obviously a puppy would not be able to do this but I also can't imagine a puppy getting in the way of, say, the JoyCon's signal unless you're playing laying on your stomach on the floor).
