There's nothing inherently wrong with it, there's just a trend of the alt-right posters wearing anime avatars.
Wrong as well, there are multiple reasons why Trump got elected, dumbing it down to one reason is stupid and just plain wrong.

Oh man, you're right! I almost had a two hour debate arguing that the racial and ethnic superiority of whites was in danger from legal immigration, because even if immigrants could perfectly integrate into American culture, non-whites would still work their way into the gene pool. We all know that prejudice has been solved, it's just all those violent blacks are threatening society with their crimes (I mean really, compare their crime rates in the US to those in Africa if you want evidence of that!). It's just in their nature, the blacks, even wealthy blacks commit more crimes than poor whites. C'mon, whites are just superior, we all know this. People are living in a fantasy world if they think minorities face discrimination, I just don't understand why everyone gets out there and criticizes me every time I lay out why whites are the superior race, and we should definitely change laws at the expense of national interests to protect that supremacy! Why is it just white countries that have to deal with the lie of racial equality poisoning our immigration system to let too many non-whites in? /s

It's horrible when someone crosses that line and uses the word "racist" to describe these ideas being actively lobbied for by a celebrity. It's a real witch hunt when the public responds to those ideas through speech and discussion.

It's not a witch hunt when Jon voiced these opinions himself. If anyone is responding to him directly or discussing it somewhere like here or Reddit it's because of his far right white supremacist viewpoints. He literally said he doesn't want the Caucasian gene pool in the USA to be diluted! He references fake news (Muslim riots in Sweden), he denies historical fact (mistreatment of the Irish), he believes Mexicans want to move to the USA and then secede parts of it to Mexico, he cites bullshit that has no facts to back it up (wealthy black people commit more crime than poor white people), he claims discrimination no longer exists, he claims the justice system is not biased against minorities, he claims most immigrants live on hand-outs, he refuses to acknowledge that hundreds of years of discrimination and social issues have an impact on crime in poor and unprivileged communities, and many other things I've no doubt forgotten. He's full of steamy creamy shit and absolutely needs to be called out on it.
I don't recall that, and I think a lot of it is just dumb internet parlance (like people using the term 'rape' in an online game), but yeah, I don't like casual use of these terms either. However, in context of the things Jon was saying in the video I think this is barely more than a minor footnote.

Jontron just had a stream with a guy who was willing to have a discussion with him, and all that did was make him laugh awkwardly and deny everything that was shown to be directly against what was told to him because he couldn't believe it and needed to research it himself. Sitting down to talk with anybody who is deeply in their camp won't do shit, they aren't willing to budge either.

Dont think anyone is really harrassing Jon but do agree that constantly challenging someone's idea is the best way to change someone's opinion. It will not always work and probably Jon has too many alt right supporters backing him for him to feel he is wrong. Really the only people who can change Jon's opinion now are his friends who disagree with him, TB disagrees with him and TB also said he would probably talk to him in private, hopefully he does and gets through to Jon but I aint holding my breath.
