Are there any examples of a game on PS4 that had the "PlayStation Exclusive" logo on it that later released for other platforms?
Close enough?

Day 1 then
Da fuq.Day 0 then
Funny thing is that Crash had just as many games on other platforms than it had exclusive on PS systems. PS players seem quick to grab a game and say that it belongs to their platform.Personally, I don't see why Crash would be on any console except PlayStation? It's basically seen as a PlayStation brand. Some franchises such as Tomb Raider, RE, Crash, etc. are simply seen as branded to PlayStation. Crash would barely sell on Xbox or any other platform not named PlayStation.
Good job listing them

It's probably the entire PlayStation Europe Newsletters that confirm it.
I have the Spain Version Newsletter that says the same thing in Spanish.
Close enough?
I hate to break this to you but were you aware crash has been released on the Xbox before?Personally, I don't see why Crash would be on any console except PlayStation? There was a very similar situation with Dragon Quest Heroes. Even "It'll be a PS4 exclusive until 2016" wasn't true as the PC version released on December 3rd.
Obviously the "Day 1 Edition" was the Exclusive part of the game
This ride will never end.
The "Slime Edition" has the exact same content on PC.

They're remakes, not remasters, and again Sony isn't funding the project.
Vicarious Visions has used the term "remaster plus" in describing whether the N. Sane Trilogy is a remaster or a remake multiple times. Vicarious Visions Also said that they do not consider it a remake, because they did not "fully remake" the original games, but rather used Naughty Dog's original code and level geometry to rebuild the gameplay from scratch. And bullshit Sony definitely spending money.
I was actually pointing out the text "Day One Edition" which is the only thing exclusive out of all the sku's
Well. Whatever floats your boat, then.
Published by Activision with sonys source code and money
They are not using the Sony's source code in the game, and Sony is not funding the development of the game.
Sources?

They are using the code
I've watched it. No old code is being used in the game, the source code of the originals is just being analised. It's quite a world of difference.http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016...-sane-trilogy-first-screens-in-depth-details/
and if you feel like watching a +40 minutes video, they go into details about how VV has been handling the game's development.

No, they aren't. They are researching the code to build aproximated recreations of the original. The code isn't actually being used "inside" the game and Sony has no property rights whatsoever on the remake's code.

Lol
You would know better then the game director at Vicarious Visions huh ?
But where do you think they got the code from?
It's pretty evident Sony had some hand in this. Not saying it's gonna be exclusive yet though.
I know to read and hear better than you, yes. Once again, they are only using source code for research so they can aproximate it (Sony has no rights to the remaster's code), and the only money being given by Sony is for marketing and timed exclusivity.
So? Just because Sony was nice enough to hand it over doesn't mean the final product will be exclusive. That's not how it works.
Reverse engineering, and since they're going for the "approximate recreations" approach I see no reason to believe they are being provided the exact source code unless specifically mentioned by them or Sony. But where do you think they got the code from?

Doesn't Sony own the right for the first 3 games since they were published by Sony during the psx era ? I know the IP is owned by activision but the first 3 games are for Sony only which explains why the remaster are for the first 3 games only and Sony exclusive
It's kinda like Bayonetta 2 and Nintendo / Sega
Do you think this remake made in Unreal Engine 4 is being built on the literal source code of a PS1 game? That's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard yetCan you post a source then?
Especially since you're stooping towards insulting other people.
Sure, and business decisions can go "hey, give us the source code, and we will let you have this as a timed exclusive for a while"Haha, that's not how business decisions go though.
wait whatDay 1 then
No retail box ever had Only on PlayStation on it, though.
I don't understand the problem here even if it is exclusive.
Why do some people hate the idea of PS4 exclusives so much?
Do the latest mainline Halo games being Xbox exclusive get this much concern considering the earlier games were also out on the PC?
It's pretty transparent that some of y'all are picking and choosing when to be outraged about this whole console exclusive thing.

Not at all. Sony only owns the publishing rights for the original PS1 games, nothing more than that. Activision does not need their permission at all in any way to do a remake of them.
The only thing Crash Sony does own is CTR.

As for it being timed, you can just wait and see.

You know what? At first I dont really care whether its exclusive or not. But now I kind of wish to see it become full exclusive just for your reaction.
There's been mountains of talk about Xbox "exclusives" going to PC. See the dozen Sunsent Overdrive PC threads. Or your own terrible example of Halo 5 lol. It's only died down recently because well, they announced literally everything is coming to PC and so speculation over it ended. Of course NOW they're not going to be much discussion over it because it's already been more or less confirmed. If they suddenly said "Halo 6 will be our one and only game we keep exclusive to Xbox One" you can bet your ass there's gonna be a ton of discussion over it.
I'd bet Halo on PC threads absolutely DWARF threads about this game and many similar ones in number and discussion. Baffling point to try to make.
I really don't know why there is such a fuss over a remaster collection being exclusive or not.
Maybe? maybe not? Either way is fine with me.That's a shame. You'll be disappointed then.
Also lmao, that's pretty petty.
