May is all Minecraft, Disgaea, and indies for Switch.

Stream is done. They fucked up so we didn't get direct feed, they just showed us off screen on the handheld.

Here's what was discussed:

Wii U to Switch world transfers is something they are working on but not at launch (cool)

Switch has been very easy to work with

60fps

Medium World Size (whatever that means.)

When it releases it will be on par on the January update and will be quickly caught up to the other versions after release.

Switch (medium on PS4) is about 3072 x 3072.

Vita / Xbox 360 / PS3 / Wii U are 864 x 864.

PS4 / Xbox One are 5120 x 5120 (large).

So world sizes are roughly 3.5x as big as WiiU but not quite as big as PS4.

May is all Minecraft, Disgaea, and indies for Switch.

Minecraft is probably the biggest release, for sure. I know people like to rag on it, but I think Street Fighter will do decently as well.

This'll be my first minecraft most likely. Just due to the availability of titles on the switch I figure I might as well finally check it out.

EDIT: same for disgea, most likely would have looked over it as I'm not super into the art style, but after checking it out the actual game seems right up my alley.

I'm sorry but Microsoft would add nothing to Nintendo besides working poorly with licensed studios. Microsoft is doing a great thing with Minecraft but fortunately Nintendo is not for sale.

Firstly, to make some faster returns on the huge amount of money they paid for it, and secondly to get more and more people hooked in to the franchise before announcing the sequel will be Windows/Xbox platforms only (at least for an initial period). That said, they'd have to develop a sequel first.

Microsoft already developed lot of games for Nintendo handheld in the past, having Minecraft on Switch sure is a good deal for Microsoft and Nintendo both.

I'd totally buy it again if it weren't for the amount of time me and my kids has invested in the XB1 version, I'd do it if I could somehow use cloud saves and get my XB1 Minecraft world onto the Switch version.
