I hope Double Fine will remaster Monkey 3 and 4 now. Remastering games already available digitally like The Dig, Loom or Indie games make no sense, but MI 3 and 4 are missing.
I doubt they will remaster anything that Schafer wasn't involved in.

Credits mention Little Stone (all 5 people or whatever they are...) and all of Platinum. This seems a Platinum port with Sega Europe providing some help.

I thought it only mentioned one person from Little Stone, Peter Bratcher.

Someone help me out please.

I want to use Steam BPM and controller configuration to give a Xbox 360 controller turbo buttons for X, Y, and A on 8-Bit Bayonetta. How do I accomplish this?

So, let me guess, Sonic 2006 port in 2018, and after that bombs, nothing else gets ported to Steam?

If you jinxed it, I will find you and I will make you play it. All of it. You will beg for death.

There is also literally no reason they would do that considering it wasn't even a game in the proper sense. It's best left forgotten as something that never came out. And Lost World already got a Steam version, so that's not happening (you better hope).

Man, seeing that 2004 Steam version again though. That interface was rough. But at least the HL2 launch trouble got you Half-Life and OpFor as a gift. At the same time, its promise as being the future was pretty clear. Being able to play HL2 while still downloading the rest was pretty neat too.
Of course, if you didn't lose your account info and made a different one a decade later like some jackass. Which reminds me I should still fix that if at all possible (I actually do still own the HL2 code and graphics card it came with). I know I could make a ticket to get the account itself back, but there's little point in that since I use a different one today. Is it possible for Steam support to fuse accounts or just change the starting year?

edit: ooooh, so that's where that Dino Crisis shit came from. I did feel like I was missing some in-joke there.

When you're editing the button, you'll want to click on "Show Activators" or press the back button. You can then enable "Hold to Repeat (Turbo)", adjust the timing, and set the binding.

If you wanted to do this for regular Bayo, you'd want to use mode shifting to make it so it only happens when you hold another button + the face button. Something like Taunt/Left Bumper.

Enjoy those jokes while you can

As much as I hated Dino Crisis 3, maybe a Dino Crisis x Vanquish game would be worth developing. DC2-style score attack gameplay with guys in power armor boost dodging around gunning down dinosaurs... in space.

You know what? I'd play it.

Vanquish with dinosaurs would be fucking amazing.

I can totally see it be another Lords of the Fallen situation for me where I actually played it at launch because I was so thirsty for anything Souls related at the time (and ended up really enjoying it).

Will wait for reviews tho to see if its busted, or probably if its not too busted >_>

I'm with you, it looks pretty cool and I liked Lords of Fallen for what it was.

I kinda wish you were a robot you customize instead of a generic looking dude with some exoskeleton, hope you can completely cover yourself up like armor

I hope the game's good, I will keep an eye on impressions

I like the thing where you target parts to get them

I don't care how bland or shallow the game is, even 1 hour of ripping stuff apart while dual wielding chainsaws is gonna be fun for me.

Played a bit of of that Disney collection, kind of had forgotten that I actually don't like how the pogo stick works in Duck Tales.

I'm curious about it for sure. I kind of wish you could customize your dude and that it had a female lead option, but oh well.

The game has a execute mive for every class when enemies are at low health (press E) which is a fancy animation, Zerker pounces on fools and theres red stuff everywhere, at first I wasnt sure what was going on because I was playing on low on the laptop but then I saw it home and you are basically turning mobs into gibs with the chainsaw, and I went "oh neat"

Thats nasically my motto for the game, its "neat". If you do play it, Zerker is one of the first class unlocks in the campaign (in fact it IS the first) so use the Paladin to go through the campaign until you unlock it, because its also dope. Cryomancer if you must, but stay away from the support initial class, its terrible.

Well I don't know what I've done now. I set it up as you stated and it worked, but I wanted to try other set-ups. So I went to 8-Bit Bayonetta's own Input entry and tried to change the fire and jump commands, but now pressing X only gets "Page Up", B only gets "Space", so on and so on.

It just refuses to acknowledge it as "Joystick input button 1" or what have you.

Well now I'm really confused. Even with Steam exited all together. My Xbox One controller now acts like X is Page Up, B is Space, etc. All buttons replicate something on the keyboard and I can not figure out how to fix it.

Thanks. That army green theme still gives me that weird feeling.

Right I forgot, Steam didn't have a store until 2010-ish right?

EDIT: Ah 2006. I forgot.

The store made its debut with Half-Life 2 pre-orders in 2004 and was opened up to third parties in 2005. Darwinia was the first third-party game to release, though technically Rag Doll Kung Fu was uploaded earlier.

where's wbacon

i thought you were cool

Ha. :) I can be cool at times, but I can also be mysterious.

As I mentioned before, we always have more stuff in the pipeline. I'm mindful of what the fans want. That's how we greenlit DDDA for Steam.

Edit: BTW, I am immensely happy for Sega, PG, Bayo, and the fans who have been waiting for it. Insta-purchased it myself. I played it to 100% completion on Xbox 360.

It seems like you're stuck on the desktop config. I'm not sure why it's happening with Steam shut down, though.

Oh man, nice to hear!

Also, got a status update on the Dead Rising 2 cards? You are allowed to say that you've cancelled them you know, I just need to know! :)

Ah yeah, after reading up, it was mostly a few indie titles that were non-Valve before finally going big.

I joined Steam around 2008-9 when I bought Team Fortress 2

It's so weird that both Darwinia(~685,000) and Rag Doll Kung Fu(~36,000) has sold so little, with Darwinia even being in Humble Bundles...

I think Introversion had a pretty sad history in general Until Prison Architect hit it big the last few years. Getting on Steam initially and then getting featured big in at least one sale down the road kept the company afloat long enough for them to eek out a company defining game.

Oh hey it's a slow ass Japanese Dev debuting on PC with a game that's likely to bomb rather than much more obvious contenders. What could go wrong?

Glad to see Bayonetta doing good on Steam. Now how about porting Anarchy Reigns, Infinite Space and Madworld? And no I didnt forget about Vanquish. I just dont care for it.
