Likely such old tech for the price. But for someone like me, who hasn't owned a 3DS since it originally launched and sold it off and missed out on so many cool games over a good four or so year period... this is a real good price for a New 3DS style of hardware that can play SNES Virtual Console and Xenoblade along with everything else.

Randomly, has anyone noticed Amazon.ca no longer has a 'send copy to my email' checkbox for the email chat customer service?

I feel like I haven't seen it in the last few times I've done the chat option....

Since the pre-order doesnt seem to be coming today, I think I'm going to cancel the original order and reorder it from my workplace to my house.

If it's a special edition that will sell out before release then pre-ordering makes sense. Also it's not a bad idea to have a pre-order set up in case there's a price error before release or something but other than that ordering a game the day of release when you're within the free same day shipping zone is the only way to do it. I always get my stuff on time when I use same day shipping, that's including a ton of non gaming related stuff too. Their same day shipping has been excellent for me. Prime is great for that.

Where can I get Nintendo e-shop cards that's not EB Games? I have to get some for my brother's Switch for Mario Kart. Any place to get the digital codes right away?

Wal-Mart definitely has them, as does Best Buy. If you're looking for digital codes only, hopefully someone else can help!

My local best buy has many units of switch in store available, other best buys should have got units too nation wide so if anyone is looking for a switch then hurry and grab one.

I also asked about NES classic and they didn't get any so looks like it'll be online only for it.

Any Switch screen protector recommendations based on what we have available in Canada? The Orzly ones on Amazon seem to be popular. Likewise, their case seems to be pretty good too. Anyone get these?

I bought the screen protector, but have been procrastinating on actually applying it. I also ordered the carrying case on March 31 and it has yet to arrive.

Paper Mario Color Spash is $60 at Best Buy. Wanted to wait til this got cheaper since I'm thinking I'll probably like the humor, but not the gameplay, but not sure if it'll even drop much lower.

First PPT now MK8 without a release day delivery despite being pre ordered since January. Thanks Amazon. They're so fucking lucky they offer the 20% discount or I wouldn't use them.

Wait out for it - a deal was posted last week (or 2 weeks ago) on Amazon for $37 - I managed to get a copy then

Sorry about your luck, I just got my copy from Amazon today. It seems to be hit or miss for people, I've just been fortunate all my pre-orders have managed release day delivery *knocks on wood*

unexpectedly got a free pair of socks when I picked up my MK8 pre-order from EB :lol

EB sure has changed since when I used to shop there regularly in the late 90s

Man switch in checkout on Amazon but delivery next Tuesday, what if I can pick one up when best buy opens and I don't have to wait oh the humanity.

I can probably just cancel Amazon order I guess lol

Well my sister leaves NS on Monday, and Switches are getting restocked today. I think I'm gonna hope for a restock when I'm up there in 2 weeks or go on a Switch hunt around Halifax and rural NS.

Heads up. Best Buy Canada just put 10 Switch (grey) online (it showed "10 online" when it initially refreshed). Snagged one. Not sure if any left.

Edit: Just checked and they're gone.

The Walmart on La Gappe in Gatineau had three grey Switch at around 11 am this morning. Don't know what accessories they have as I have no interest in getting one.

Nice find. At a distance, the P2 version looks better. But up close, the original is way better.

Having not done the amiibo craze last year, Im obviously not familiar with the pre-order process. Are these typically online only?
