So that partly explains why I saw a bundle today of the first two games on PS4 on PSN, for $24.95 AUD...what the first game alone costs (or did when I looked recently).

Well sure there was that humble bundle a short while ago (though it was US only) where you'd pay just over $15 and get both Darksiders games as well as a bunch of other THQ Nordic games.

Fury was always female though, and both fury and strife are made up Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Whereas in real life theyre Pestilence and Famine

Well, given the nature of the leak, it could just mean the Switch version is the only one not revealed... but could just be how long it was under wraps meant THQ Nordic decided not to aim for the system, and might port later.

This is pretty cool.
I prefer Strife's design out of the two that don't have a game yet, but unless they could pull something out that's on the level of Vanquish in terms of a 3rd person shooter, Fury is probably the better one to go with.

Oof that is a whole lot of... ehh...

IMO Darksiders is the push and, in today's market, the only "easily" marketable IP. They are testing the waters with a DAH "remaster" . The could also test Red Faction rereleases.

Titan Quest for PC and A/B test Red Faction and Painkiller against each other for development bandwidth and have DAH occupy a Plants vs Zombies style F2P space...and basically just dump all the dollars into Darksiders 3 and somehow focus on/make Fury the star since female protags are hot right now to get buzz. Advertise like crazy and if all else fails, no review copies until release day lol. Chop the game up into some DLC and try to build a war chest. Darksiders 3: Hell Hath No Fury.

Conversely, go all in on Darksiders and hope to god you make a great game that people love and use no tricks.

This is great. Glad this series is given another chance. Sure the sequel had a few little niggles but overall it was a solid adventure and I loved playing as Death. Great to see another game with a female lead role, look forward to seeing gameplay.

I hope it's a step up from Darksiders 2 which was probably the most disappointing sequel of last gen.

I played Darksiders 1 again recently and damn it's good. Can't believe they wasted such a good ending with the momentum killing sequel.
