Don't need a BN membership to do it. Having the membership just gets the item there a wee bit faster and 10% off the set.

And I don't know if LEGO was being cheeky in responding to my asking for a LEM model, or if they are teasing something in the works.

Gosh darn you, I wasn't going to do this but dammit now I don't think I can wait. Can you send me the info I need to get it from barns if they still have it in stock and can I do it over the phone with them? Or do I need to physically go there.

Annoyed that the Lego stores in London open at 10am. So I can't easily go before work. I might have to take an early lunch because I'd be worried about it selling out by 6pm

Today's reveal is the Minecraft set 21137 The Mountain Cave.
https://brickset.com/article/28091/21137-the-mountain-cave-press-release

2,863 pieces
US $249.99 - CA $299.99 - DE 249.99€ - UK £259.99 - DK 2099.00 DKK
available on July 1st, with early access to VIPs from June 15th.

It is in the price range of Assembly square, probably has even more mass, but for me there is no appeal( Minecraft never was as theme).

I'd still like to see how the lift works.
Yeah, the only Minecraft LEGO sets that interested me was from the Cursor set and the follow up Microworld sets.

I actually own the full set of them. They're tiny, I like the Minecraft block shaped boxes, and you can connect them as well.

Once they turned it into its own full line of larger sets however, I just lost interest in it.

!!!

Don't need to be a member? I'll head there after work if you can send me the info for ordering, it'd be much appreciated.

And I hope that is a tease of things to come -- it would be out of this world!

Wal-Mart sales were good yesterday. Got all three for ~$150 total.

Planning on keeping the Rebels set in the box for a while to see if price goes up for resale, probably.

The Krennic/Shuttle set might just be for parts tbh. I will probably build it to see if it changes my mind but I may just go for some sort of deluxe Bat-Plane or something, not sure.

The Striker though... Excited for that one. All the minifigures look great.

*EDIT* according to new reddit threads, many Toys R Us stores have begun selling these sets today as well. TRU is also running a 20% off all SW LEGO sale right now. Go see if you can score a deal!

Good news: amazon is stocking summer star wars sets now

bad news: some are mispriced and are too high... could be a mistake, I hope

22.92 for the battle packs o_O that is definitely not right. And as much as I love amazon... they have no price matching policy, nor will they price adjust after an item ships if you find it cheaper. One of their downsides. They even removed the "tell us about a lower price" feature that used to be there

Just talked to my LUG about next iconic car in VW Beetle and Mini Cooper "series". What's your take on next set? Fiat 500? Excellent choice but somehow too similar to Mini Cooper. Mustang? Vespa scooter? Would be awesome but not a car. VW Golf?

Yeah, I got krennics shuttle from a Walmart that had it clearanced as well. They also had the other two discounted down but I already got the striker for cheap elsewhere and I already have a different version of the other set. I also need to cut down my expenses a ton this year so I'm trying to cut down to exclusives only for the most part, but it's hard. I probably will only get a couple sets from the Batman movie line and now that I have picked up a bunch of superheros I will probably eliminate that line from my pickups. I've been moving more toward buying most of my Lego in bulk now via bricklink, lugbulk, and PaB.

According to my rebrickable database the number of bricks I've bought loose in bulk finally surpassed the amount I have via sets, 320,000 bricks non set vs 315,000 from sets. (Yes I keep track of a count of all loose bricks I buy excluding the ones I bought before 2013. So technically I probably passed it before now but those parts are not in my database since when I started keeping track I had lots of sorted sets already sorted in loose bricks and I wasn't about to separate them to figure it out.) I could of done it somewhat but bricklink deletes orders completed after 6 months so I couldn't go back to the beginning.

Also it's not that crazy time consuming. I use a scale that gives me a count of all the bricks so I can count several thousand bricks in a couple minutes.

Walked into the local grocery chain and saw last Blue Power Jet for 30Eur, quickly grabbed it. Then driving back I realized I got one or even two sealed ones hidden out of sight. But will try to play the birthday card on this one. You know, mine present being allowance to unpack and build ;)

Wish I knew if the TRU sale was today only or not. Don't want to go today, but potential 20% off Rathtar Escape would be worth it.

Although TRU probably has MSRP jacked up on it anyway...

The receipts I saw people posting had them selling at MSRP with an additional 20% off

But who knows, particular stores may charge more.

I'll confirm new Star Wars were at msrp before 20%. I didn't see the Rathtar set at mine. Every time I hear Rathtar I think of Reptar from Rugrats.

My closest TRU had no new stock yet.

Almost bought an Imperial Shuttle Tydirium for $80. It's been sitting there forever. Might reconsider and go back tomorrow but it wasn't on my must have list.

Sale goes through 5/20.

I got mine cheaper, but that is a great set. It's HUGE too.

Is Ultra Agents a dead series? I picked up the Hurricane Heist set for $29.98 at TRU today, first time seeing it on their shelves. Looked like an interesting plane/helicopter/whatever to build.

Go right back. Model T.

Yesterday I posted about how I barely buy any LEGO anymore, and today I did the opposite. As Ghost said, Canadian TRUs are giving away the Astromech polybag today....another Canadian outlet (Mastermind) slashed prices on a few sets so I grabbed the Beatles one ($28) and the Caterham ($40) from their online store.

Stopped by my local Mastermind and ALL the new sets are out. The new Star Wars battle packs look fantastic. As do the Brickheadz which I hadn't seen in person yet.

The Scout Trooper looks so impressive even by the size of the box.

Lots of stuff getting added to my Brickset want list tonight....

Dead, unfortunately, the villains of the line were amazing! Infearno Interception has the best futurecar build ever.

Hurricane Heist came out 2 years ago or something, my TRU also had a lone HH for 50% off but someone bought it a week or so back.

Hmmm are you supposed to get an email for barnes and noble pre pay orders? I haven't gotten a shipping notification yet and its been almost two days. Might contact them tomorrow.....

Did we ever figure out a good way to know what LEGO Batman figures were in each bag? Still sort of want Red Hood and Catman

Personally I hope not. I know the ultimate aim is for models to look like their counterpart, but I'm not a fan of '3D modelled' Lego like that. It looks like they took some 3D model on a computer and generated the Lego model. I much prefer when it's designed by a human
