Wrinkle in Time: The Golden Compass Too, Electric Boogaloo.

Maybe it'll be good though.....I'm out as soon as I see a child protagonist in a movie, but could be fun for younger audiences.

What exactly is the premise of Mary Poppins Returns? She just goes to a different house with kids that are bored or neglected?

I don't know what Wrinkle In Time is but that trailer has be very curious, looks... kinda freaky sci-fi? Maybe I should read the book o:

TRIGGER WARNING: "Haunting tinkly cover of classic 80's song"

Phasers set to groan.

Definitely felt like the worst decision about the trailer, especially since the song has been so played out in trailers, but I suppose if they are going after a YA audience it's a time tested approach.

Only way this panel can get my hyped is if they announce John Carter 2.

Benedict is clearly there to announce a cross over movie between the LoTR, Star Trek, Sherlock, and MCU.

No longer boycotting the Wolfenstein franchise
I think I read A Wrinkle in Time as a kid, but I don't remember a damned thing. The trailer tells me it's a chosen one YA scenario however, which... I can generally do without.

They're giving each movie a ton of stage time, which is kinda annoying for movies I don't really care about, but will be good when they get around to Marvel and Star Wars.

Yeah I was gonna say that we're like an hour into this event and we've only seen like 3-4 movies.

At this pace I'm not sure there's going to be time to talk about much of anything beyond Black Panther, Avengers, and The Last Jedi.

So this panel is listed as being 2 hours long. We're half-way through now and haven't gotten to anything Marvel or Star Wars or even live action remake (Mulan, Lion King) yet, so either we're only get little bits for those or some stuff is just not going to be talked about.

Maybe they're saving Avengers for Comic Con?

This is like the cinematic version of a 2013 Sony E3 Press Conference. "And now for no reason whatsoever, a live dance demonstration....."

I really wouldn't expect much of anything from Marvel other than a confirmation of the Black Order appearing in Avengers: Infinity War. Maybe a little teaser for he audience but that's it. So there's plenty of time for that and whatever Star Wars we will get.

They'll save Thor: Ragnarok for SDCC next weekend. And we will get nothing from Black Panther. Guys, we just had the blowout from Entertainment Weekly and it's too soon for another trailer.

You can spend 5 minutes on Marvel and move on.
