Snitches get stitches! Bungie hit that video with a pre-nerf Gally! A lot to do and looks great can't wait! Careful to all the mirrors wolf pack rounds can track!

Somebody at Bungie is about to administer some serious asskickings. For anybody who missed the videos, you don't have long to wait.

Wait, Lost Sectors are just a room with 5 dudes in them? Woof. Adventures and the NPCs seem like an improvement though.

I don't think it's possible for me to feel excitement about Destiny anymore, but it looks like there will be more to do than D1 on patrols, thankfully.

The video cut after that. It obviously went further.

Unavailable. :(

Damn, that was fast! I can't believe people are actually breaking their NDA, but that's not really surprising unfortunately...

Here is a summary from this video, thanks to Reddit:

- They played for 16 hours and got about two thirds through the story. That time does include "a bit of PvP and strikes" and adventures.
- "Destiny 2 is not a grindfest at all"
- You start with absolutely nothing, no power.
- Progress is a lot better than in D1.
- Mentions you unlock different things at different levels.
- He didn't have his sparrow yet at level 20.
- Armor doesn't get cool until the endgame.
- Talks about Titan (the planet). One of the locations is an abandoned resort. Game looks absolutely stunning.
- Music is also amazing, apparently only 4 guys at Bungie are responsible for the music.
- Zero complaints, except maybe you have to start all over.
- (Obviously) they haven't played anything of the end game. He was told the (end)game would unfold "like a flower" once you finish the campaign.

Is posting video like this okay on NeoGaf? As we don't know if it's breaking NDA from Bungie/Activision?

I'd be in the dick
Looks good. Glad they didn't go too in depth into the Lost Sectors or Adventures, want to see those in game, but it seems like a good balance of things to do while on patrol. Nice to also see some footage of gearing up with greens and blues instead of just having a bunch of legendaries and exotics.

Awesome, thanks.

Was going to hold out for the PC release but fuck it I'm in there Sep 6th.

Will cross my fingers for being able to transfer your characters between PC and PS4 (Not going to happen I know).

I'm probably a Destiny hater at this point but it doesn't look that different than the first one, some adjustment that could have happened on any expansion, still nope for me.

We're free to post anything we want regarding this, none of us signed an NDA.

If it was an expansion, they'd have kept the 6v6 PvP and not make the last Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner in Destiny 1

@at the preview info: Eh, 16 hours isn't enough to determine if the game feels grindy or not. The campaign shouldn't feel grindy, IMO.

That looks amazing!

Why oh why am I going to be in NJ for a wedding from the 5th-11th :(

Most hyped game for me this year and I am going to be out of town for launch. Oh well guess I will have a lot of catching up to do when I get back.

This all sounds pretty good. I'd be absolutely fine with a 20-30 hour story.

Post everything. Like someone else said, we didn't sign anything. Bungie isn't our friend - just a bunch of people trying to get our cash.

Yes, something told me to expect it to still be pretty short, but all the QoL changes and the weekly events will be fun.

So I take it no hidden subclasses, or else these guys would have dropped that bomb for sure.

I'd be amazed if there was a hidden subclass, but to be fair it says they didn't make it to endgame and didn't have a sparrow. If Bungie was going to hide a subclass they would hide it past that point.

I was actually trying to figure that out from the HUD in the bottom left. Are those the icons from one of the known hunter subclasses? They didn't use any skills or anything noteworthy in the video.

Variety is the spice of life and all, but I wish the whole game took place in the European Deadzone. I'm a sucker for forests in games. Every other area I've seen thus far has been a little underwhelming.

I hope I can finish the story in under 5 hours the 2nd time around, it'd be a pain to play a long story when you simply want to level up your alts to get them ready for end game.

Best part is that the patrol zones have a faction now. The player was collecting EDZ tokens the whole time and at the end went to an NPC to pick up a faction package/turn the rest in. They got two legendaries and a shader. This is exactly what the game needed to keep you wanting to play patrol mode.

They didn't show the entire thing for lost sectors.
