Another video covering missions around the European Dead Zone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqY8Kvt3F6M
Is it because of Youtube, or is Destiny dropping some FPS during encounters?
Wait, Lost Sectors are just a room with 5 dudes in them? Woof. Adventures and the NPCs seem like an improvement though.
I don't think it's possible for me to feel excitement about Destiny anymore, but it looks like there will be more to do than D1 on patrols, thankfully.
The video cut after that. It obviously went further.
Unavailable.
That was for the Salvage Mission he completed, not the Lost Sector.Pretty sure some type of mission complete message popped up but I'd have to go back and look.
Damn, that was fast! I can't believe people are actually breaking their NDA, but that's not really surprising unfortunately...
Here is a summary from this video, thanks to Reddit:
- They played for 16 hours and got about two thirds through the story. That time does include "a bit of PvP and strikes" and adventures.
- "Destiny 2 is not a grindfest at all"
- You start with absolutely nothing, no power.
- Progress is a lot better than in D1.
- Mentions you unlock different things at different levels.
- He didn't have his sparrow yet at level 20.
- Armor doesn't get cool until the endgame.
- Talks about Titan (the planet). One of the locations is an abandoned resort. Game looks absolutely stunning.
- Music is also amazing, apparently only 4 guys at Bungie are responsible for the music.
- Zero complaints, except maybe you have to start all over.
- (Obviously) they haven't played anything of the end game. He was told the (end)game would unfold "like a flower" once you finish the campaign.
Is posting video like this okay on NeoGaf? As we don't know if it's breaking NDA from Bungie/Activision?

I'm probably a Destiny hater at this point but it doesn't look that different than the first one, some adjustment that could have happened on any expansion, still nope for me.

So I take it no hidden subclasses, or else these guys would have dropped that bomb for sure.

What country is this? Europe is not a country.
