Quick question:

Soon I'll be living 4 months away from home without my media setup. I'll be bringing my computer screen which doesn't have any sound output or input channel and connect it via VGA -> HDMI adapter to my consoles. For sound I'll just use headphones.

Now, how will I be able to get sound in whatever way from the SNES Mini? Any ideas for an easy solution?

So what's the consensus on Castlevania 4? I had never played it before and as I slog through it on my SNES mini I'm finding it a bit underwhelming.

The music and atmosphere and graphics are all fantastic, but the gameplay leaves a bit to be desired. I'm only up to stage 5, but I feel like the enemies are a cakewalk and there isn't a lot of variety. I just walk, stop, stand or kneel, whip, rinse, repeat.

I had Bloodlines back in the day and that seems like a more fulfilling game.

CV IV is fantastic, but admittedly much easier than those that came before. The challenge will pick up though.

Wait until you get to chapter 8. It starts to get pretty intense. The movement feels a bit janky, especially the jumping. Id much rather play bloodlines for sure, but im having a good time with it regardless.

Yeah, I never played an NES classic. So, it was mind blowing to me that these are longer. Nintendo cheaping the fuck out on these cord lengths.

Bloodlines has far less control than CV IV, maybe you should watch the Nerds video on it.

Technically the final day for bestbuy.com orders should be end of business on Friday. It’s usually an 8 day hold before your order gets cancelled and refunded. Then it’s up to whoever works the reports to put them back on the shelf. It’s a very ymmv type of situation. It’s way easier with in store orders since after 5 days you can just put them on the shelf no questions asked.
