Just fought Maximilian in a ranked match. He was streaming the fight on Twitch. Got bodied and I don't know how he's only 12th rank. :p

Yeah he jumps around from game to game. Never really sits on one fighter for a long stretch of time.
It's what I enjoy about his streams, always something fresh.
 
Yeah, I guess when you're kinda known as "that fighting game player on youtube" you probably tend to jump around from game to game to keep viewers happy. Especially when a lot of people still don't like this game for petty reasons.

Also, captain marvel's slide is some bullshit

ggs. yeah i havent seen much dr strange play but i think he has some teleport combos and other wild stuff. And yeah lol her slide while armored is super good

you mean the slide that leaves characters in an otg state for a long ass time? surely that isn't bs.

Just to be clear, he just got back from a long vacation. That's why his rank isn't so high. He's been mostly playing Marvel since it released.

How do you do that quick super jump into land > low attack that people do? I can't seem to land quick enough after the air dash down. And are there any incoming mix up guides around for mvci?

Finally figured out why I am addicted to training mode in this game. I am trapped in a skinner box (aka feedback loop). I sit there and watch my combo dmg go up and it fills me with good feels.

Havent played online in a few days though. I just know I'm still gonna get wrecked because I have no clue how to do the HSD glitch. I've read some threads on it but I just cant pull it off

Nobody likes CapCom at gamefaqs.


Regarding porting marvel 2...they probably only ported umvc3 to get people hyped for infinite but really all it did was show people how lacking Infinite was in comparison.

Porting mvc origins and 2 would be big money but they don't even need more comparisons for infinite.

I really feel like MvC2 would be so ideal for the Nintendo Switch. I know a lot of you gafs probably got connections at Capcom (or some Capcom employee is crawling this thread on the downlow). Please bring this up with upper management.

I seriously can't purchase this game w/o spending $60 on used game sales market. It has always been rare according to my research. This is money that is not going to hit Capcom's pockets and its just weird

Try to input your air combo slower. If you do it too fast they'll land and recover before you have time to reach them

You know at this point I kind of wonder how yet another update to Marvel 3 would have gone over vs Infinite's reception.

Build on that already dense roster of 50 characters to make it one of the largest fighting game rosters in fighting game history(King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match holds the crown at 66 I think) by adding the Infinite characters to bring it up to 62 characters, fix DHC infinites, nerf Vergil/Zero/Morrigan fireballs, maybe Phoenix maybe X-Factor.

Just one of those games I thought actually had an infinite potential, and I say this as someone who likes MvC:I.

Honestly at this point a UMVC3 update probably would've cost them less than what they payed for MVC:I and brought in more money.

I actually think this is a pretty good idea at this point. Not sure how possible it would be for them but they did just rereleased it so the licenses situation should be ok?

Only thing wrong with that game is the netcode though...

If we use Marvel Heroes & what happened with their F4 characters as reference, Marvel would probably still have the Fox characters removed if they started the update at the same time they started MvCI.

Do you mean during combo being able to get back to the ground to continue the combo? Or are you referring to empty tridash low etc to open people up?

10/10 IGN GOTY doesn't even need a story mode.

In all seriousness, this is very comparable to original DmC vs DMC4SE, and look at the difference in release reception.

I agree with Max. If I could choose between Story Mode and, let's say TWO more characters, I'd pick the characters. Especially if they are new ones. The new characters are all great. Gamora, Ultron, Thanos, Jedah, Ms. Marvel, and X. And all the DLC ones so far look fantastic.

I agree with Max. If I could choose between Story Mode and, let's say TWO more characters, I'd pick the characters. Especially if they are new ones. The new characters are all great. Gamora, Ultron, Thanos, Jedah, Ms. Marvel, and X. And all the DLC ones so far look fantastic.

to be honest, with all of their time on story mode, I think it would be enough to support like 6 to 10 characters (mixed of newcomers and veterans) but it's unfortunate that we have to deal with that now. Also more characters probably wouldn't even save this game since the game launch is tainted in some customers' mindsets.

They could get to 66 and even out the Marvel/Capcom ratio by bringing in four more characters from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

With an opponent trapped in the shame cube Firebrand can dance really well around them, even if he doesn't have a teleport. Now I just got to figure out how to continuously move with him without feeling overwhelmed and how to make use of the surge with the tornadoes.

Yeah, the empty tri dash low. Is it just do the tri dash really fast? When I do it, there's this small delay before I land.
