I like how his villainy is formed on his deep desire for Mutant freedom. He goes about it in an antagonistic way, but he just really wants the best for Mutants, for the most part. I also like his relationship with Charles and the angle that adds to his character.

Magneto because he is interesting as a character, when he's a villain he's a real baddy, and he's one of the most entertaining adversaries not just for the X-men but across the Marvel universe.

In terms of both his power set and his character he's the ultimate.

Magneto. It's an interesting progression and you can see how he came to the conclusion that he did. He didn't just wake up one day and go "hey, I can bend metal. Only people who can bend metal or do cool shit should live."

Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister were great in the 90s cartoon. Magneto has been the only noteworthy villain/anti-villain in the movies.

I still can't get over how bad the Apocalypse movie turned out to be. Just... dreadful.
