Oh we're still here, I am just trying to make sure the community isn't lost when/if the site goes completely dark again.

It doesn't seem that way seeing that discord invites plague the thread right now :|

Not blaming you, on the contrary I think that you're doing a laudable effort trying to save everything just in case Neogaf goes kaput. In my case I'm a very simple man so I try to get everything I need from as few sources as possible so I don't want any discord for now. I applaud your effort, wish you all the luck in the world and if everyone ends up in the new forum (resetEra) is possible that I go there depending on how this new Neogaf evolves.

I'll be glad if the regulars from past MC threads could still post here while they're in discord but my experience tells me that in the end people will only choose one place for simplicity and seeing the exodus of users I doubt that Neogaf will be the chosen place unfortunately.

Anyway, less rants and discord petitions and more sales! I hope to see Switch selling more than 125.000 next week (and Oddissey more than 400.000)

I would also like to be PM'd whereever media-create/salegaf decide to go. Although I don't participate in discussion I frequently lurk and read and watch and would be sad for it all end.

Much love to everyone still posting and sharing media create info.

Not into all the drama. I come here to discuss things game related. But with such an ungoing bailout, I'm gonna have to go wherever a productive community is. Drop me an invite plz.

If i remember right, Taiko will release next week. I'm very interested in see it's performance on PS4. Not expecting anything great though.

So, who is going to make the thread tomorrow? I don't have the time but we have to keep posting these.

Also i would rename the thread to ''Japan Sales: Week 42, 2017 (Oct 16 - Oct 22)'' and put MC-Famitsu-Dengeki in the OP, would be more interesting to click in ha ha.

Just a opinion.

And I only just got my account approved after lurking these threads for months too. Certainly not how I envisioned my first post here going.

If Chris1964, hiska-kun, and most of the other frequent contributors to these threads have moved to the Discord, I would greatly appreciate an invite as well.

Props to silpheed on trying to actually discuss game sales. I've never realized how many lurkers were in this thread before this though o_O.

Curious to see what the top seller of 2017 will be. I'm not sure of the overall sales potentially of Mario in Japan though (especially compared to the newer Splatoon IP). Looking forward to seeing the numbers though, especially the hardware numbers as well

Pokemon US/UM

DQXI is already way above 2 millions

More 3m

Famitsu:
[3DS] Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age 1.722.038
[PS4] Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age 1.319.499

And more 3m without digital sales, i don't think Pokemon US/UM can break DQXI sales in 2017 (in 2018 neither, never btw).

ComG! pre-orders

Pokemon US/UM (24 days left): 604 pt

Pokemon S/M (24 days left): 1286 pt
last day: 1828 pt
first week (famitsu): 1.905.107
LTD: 3.806.592 (+96.080 digital=3.902.672)

Media create is my favorite community on gaf. If people are moving can I get an invite via pm?

I have been on this site since 2006 (and was on the old site before that)

Can I get an invite to Discord too? Thanks

On topic: Looking forward to the the numbers tomorrow. Will be nice to have some normalcy

I'm going to create a new series of MC threads.
Simpler than Chris ones, sure, but we'll have a place to discuss Japan sales.

I already talked to Chris about this.

Oh ok. I remember that you made some threads when Chris couldn't and you did a great job. If PatsuJo can make Chris-like threads like you, no problem.
I won't make highly detailed threads like Chris, only simply reports (and silpheed will contribute too, thanks silpheed).

Of course, if anyone is willing to make a more complex, detailed thread just like Chris, I gladly accept this fact and I will step aside, no problem.

The priority is to ensure GAF have fresh numbers and a thread to discuss, if someone is capable of continuing Chris job, even better :)

I guess that can work too. Seems like Chris spoiled me. Looking forward to the new thread then.
