So come back home Amy
GamesIndustry.biz said:That very logic means Sony is presently operating on a level that's simply out of reach to most third parties. It's great news for Sony and its studios; but for those wishing that the commercial logic of single-player games will find a healthy balance, Sony's blockbusters are a false hope.
As a fan of single-player games, this pleases me.

It has been sad to watch the decline of the single player experience over the past decade or so.

hmm its interessting how cd project red did manage to make an open world with very INTERESSTING quests instead of those basic fetch me quests you find in almost every other open world game..I don't like open world filled with fetch me quests.
So come back home Amy
AMEN!PLEASE COME BACK HOME TO SONY! I'd make her a creative lead of a studio right now.
No, it most certainly is not. Thinking like this is ignorance at its worst.Once AAA single player games officially bite the dust (it is inevitable)
But most SP games nowadays are open world and they are exactly what you are describing. Its precisely the reasons above why I love Single Player games.
I don't like open world filled with fetch me quests.
I don't have the time for 500 hr games anymore.
I don't like live services in games.
But most SP games nowadays are open world and they are exactly what you are describing.
We hardly get linear SP games anymore.
Well my opinion is Amy is spot on, single player games - even when they sell well - do not generate the money of multiplayers with plenty of microtransations, therefore you are possibly putting in more work for less reward. If you believe your only reward is the money you make. If you are more in line with the artist's thinking, your reward is to make a truly celebrated work of art. However, with this being a business, money talks so therefore you see less and less true AAA single player experiences. Sony puts their money where their mouth is, and takes bets on the single player.
Not one to rest on their *** though, Yoshida came out and said while he is happy with the company's SP success, he wishes they had more success on the multiplayer side. Since that is coming from the horse's mouth, I expect at least one division of one of their studios to be cooking something up in the multiplayer area. We already know TLoU2 will have multiplayer, and perhaps the return of Killzone (Not made by GG, who we can assume are concentrating on HZD2) or some such.
"Sony supports single player!"
Yeah, single player movies.
As much as I don't like Nintendo, at least they try to give a little bit of variety in their offerings.
What I like about Sony is that they give me both quality western single player games and Japanese single player games and Nintendo also has fantastic first party and third party Japanese single player games. As long as this two keep giving me quality single player games then I'm happy.
I’ll quit gaming if SP dies.
eyeroll.gifWas this article paid by Sony in any way?

Exactly. You sir....you get it. Not many devs can achieve this.hmm its interessting how cd project red did manage to make an open world with very INTERESSTING quests instead of those basic fetch me quests you find in almost every other open world game..
So that's why she got fired, she believes in God.
Not to progressive enough? Henning was always a person who did not identify with modern feminism. Also she probably does not hate white straight people like their new hand picked actor. So that's why she got fired, she believes in God.
PLEASE COME BACK HOME TO SONY! I'd make her a creative lead of a studio right now.
