How is the average person even going to know what game he played if they can't even see the game title??? Zombie Hunter is an extremely generic term with many results, so now Sony is not only blocking users from seeing the title of the game software, but there are people that will NEVER know what the game is leading to declined sales for the developer and publisher!!!!!!!!!!
Given that this is some hella niche title to begin with, I doubt the average consumer even knew this game even existed and probably don't care that it does. The part about "declined sales" is a little too reaching here IMO.
Where can I find this post anyways? If this is that social thing on PS4, don't you have to be friends with the poster to see this stuff? Looking at other people's automated achievement posts isn't something I usually seek out when I get on my PS4.
But what do I know? I'm just some average consumer.
The thing I'm more worried about with these rampant anti-Sony threads is the image that it puts out to the average consumer (if they, for some reason, stumble into GAF). It might make them think "oh is this how all gamers see Sony?" Which I think is completely not representative of the community. The prevalence of these posts, is definitely giving the wrong impression, if not misleading others about the gaming community's views. Sure censorship is hampering on the DEVs' creative expression, but I highly doubt that a couple of blocked words or butts it is anti-consumer. If they actually prevented people from playing these games, THAT would be anti-consumer.
Just my two cents. 100% opinion.
