My health advice is: Do not do drugs. I feel it is a more all-encompassing and even safer advice than CDC's.
Well unless you are an immortal hulk, then do whatever you feel like.fuck that

For how long though? Smoking for ten years usually does not lead to any easily detectable life-threatening consequences. Let's see if this is linked to specific stuff, but "people have been doing this for a couple of years already" is not a good argument for its safety.People have been vaping for a long time. I suspect some of these incidents might be because of all the new shit people are trying to mod their formulas and whatnot. Especially if it introduces inorganic oils into your lungs.

It's not a good argument in isolation, because the alternative, smoking, is something that shows its desastrous effect usually after 20-50 years, not after 10. So people having done it for ten years is not a good argument for its safety, independent of whether this specific issue is one with illegal THC carts. If these instances are black market THC cartridges apart from nicotine vaping, why isn't that a good argument?

folks get all uppity when you suggest they do things to better their health.
I think a lot of people just get tired of hearing smug people tell them a completely obvious fact, it's condescending.
This is just so frustrating because they are targeting flavored nicotine juice when the deaths had nothing to even do with that.Trump banning e-cigs?
Trump administration readies ban on flavored e-cigarettes amid outbreak of vaping-related deaths
An outbreak of a mysterious vaping-linked lung disease has sickened hundreds and killed at least six people.www.cnbc.com

I don't understand this notion, I get this a lot from my mom. "You don't know what's in those things!", but we do, this isn't the 1920's with cigarettes. And it's actually pretty simple compared to the myriad of chemicals found in a cigarette. For nicotine vaping at least, you're just getting some mixture of PG and VG medium, which as far as I know are both very common ingredients and considered safe for consumption by the relevant regulatory bodies. Other than that you are getting flavourings, which are again very common and considered safe for consumption, and then the nicotine.
If we want to talk about the long term effects, sure, the jury is still out and I'm very interested in how it pans out. But we're starting at a different place than with cigarettes, there were a lot of very well informed and intelligent people saying yeah, based on what we're looking at here this would appear to be far healthier than smoking cigarettes. It's not "some mystery" shit.
The one time you should listen to Cunth advice you people don't...Probably putting weird shit in your lungs damages them. Get a better hobby tards
I feel safe buying e-liquid. I’m not into anything pre-filled, no carts or pre-filled pods. Certain organisations want to target vaping as a whole, ignoring the evidence in order to further their agenda. Nothing new there, the world stays turning.
I feel confident that this has nothing to do with nicotine vaping juices and everything to do with liquid drug vapes. My friend said that on a distilates site he was ordering from, they now mention what it does not contain, namely, the vitamin E acetate oil which was being found in some of these drug vape mediums.
Although I feel confident about my juices, I am seriously worried that Canada will move to ban this stuff at some point.
I agree completely. And have the same worry about there being a domino effect over in my country. I can’t speak to Canada but in the UK the government are eager to set new legislation for vaping products. It’s just the fact that there is some pushback from advocates that warn punishing vapers will send the wrong message out. I feel it’s just a matter of time.
I saw some news articles about some places in the states outright banning vaping, and I thought it's only a matter of time until this pussy ass country gets on board.
That's what you get for vaping.
hhahahahaahahThis meme is so 2013.
Get with the times, Curry boi.
Altria just invested billions in jule, tobacco companies are all in on vaping. It obviously has some kind of effect on health like pretty much everything does. I don't get why governments prefer to ban instead of actually investigate. If anything the prohibition years and the war on drugs have shown us that people want to get high. If I want to put a bullet in my head I should be able to. Even more so if it's fun to do it.
Prohibition is stupid.
I haven't read the article (I smoke AND vape, both juice and weed fully knowing that I'm pretty much committing suicide slowly) but keep in mind that there are powerful forces interested in not letting vaping get legitimized. Namely tobacco companies. Also remember that at some point in history doctors recommended smoking... All the way until they actually investigated the thing.
As a tax payer (not in the US), I'd be pretty happy if money was invested in finding out, scientifically and as free of external influence as possible, what the actual effects are. Same for weed.
