Talks about design and some other details.
Uh, yeah. $400 would be a bargain. Even the Xbox One X has a release MSRP of $500. This will be at least $500 I’m sure. It's ugly as fuck. It's literally a computer now. Gonna be at least $400.
After this 'classic' post of yours in the Godfall thread 'New Gen didn't even begin and xbox is already left behind. lol', i'm shocked you dont like it, shocked.talk about design....lol there is none
The middle button is a share button? Now if they could only make creating (and storing) screenshots so easy like on the PS4...Wow I like the design, it’s a smart idea. Do we know anything about the controller? Looks the same from this picture
Edit: looks like it has a share button and the bumpers look different

By the way, i'd love to know your reasoning behind that post, if you would care to share.
The name "Xbox" is simply too literal here lol. It's just a desktop computer design with some indentation at the top that resembles the original Xbox, I didn't see that at first and I think it was a nice touch. Other than that, I just think it's too big like the base Xbox One when it launched. But the only thing I care about are exclusives and an affordable price.
Man that design is atrocious, probably the ugliest console I've ever seen.
But it really doesn't matter what it looks like, at the end of the day the software matters more and I can't wait to see where Microsoft takes their new first party studios.

They gotta sell the Elite broI actually dig the design. Disappointed that the controller doesn't have paddles on the back though. I still have a sliver of hope that the DS5 will.
It's ugly as fuck. It's literally a computer now. Gonna be at least $400.
Uh? Maybe you have never seen a PC gaming case...It's ugly as fuck. It's literally a computer now. Gonna be at least $400.
I think...more Power more space...Better this them MSI case designs...this Is more Apple style then hardcore gaming designs like MSI as i have said beforeI don't see what's so ugly about it. Instead of a thin rectangle it is now a thicker rectangle. Big Woop.
If this is the design that gives us the best performance then full steam ahead imo. I don't buy consoles to look at them, I buy them to play them.
Gamers: PC ARE THE MASTER RACE. CONSOLES SUCK.
MS: Okay, we'll make consoles more like PCs
Gamers: EWWW, IT'S LIKE A PC!
Console gamers in the nutshell. It's ugly as fuck. It's literally a computer now. Gonna be at least $400.
I hear ya but I really think it should become standard this upcoming gen, asking people who want that feature to pay 5 times the price is ridiculous in my opinion. Plus there is a need for a couple of extra buttons because as games have gotten more complex so too have their control schemes, RDR2 comes to mind in that regard. We're seeing more and more button combinations in order to perform certain actions. They gotta sell the Elite bro
Yes, the Gamecube was the ugliest console ever. It looked like a Fisher Price toy.

It was junk.

Wow I had no clue you could patent a button location on a controller, sounds pretty dubious to me.The PS5 wont come with paddles either fingers crossed to even get an elite controller. Scuf owns some kind of patent deal with the paddles even Microsoft pays them royalties. Surprised neither company has tried to acquire them yet actually.

Yes, I've seen all versions of the PS3.Have you seen the PS3?
Yes, I've seen all versions of the PS3.
This design is significantly worse, in fact I don't mind the fat PS3 design.
Go elite my bro. I'm carrying my white elite 1 over.I actually dig the design. Disappointed that the controller doesn't have paddles on the back though. I still have a sliver of hope that the DS5 will.
LOL. $400.....that's cute. It's ugly as fuck. It's literally a computer now. Gonna be at least $400.

Try $500 at least
Gamers and Microsoft will roll their eyes at just about anything, its not easy by any means pleasing gamers.Gamers: PC ARE THE MASTER RACE. CONSOLES SUCK.

It was modeled after PC's.I dont mind the design at all.... i'm worried people will find it obtrusive in their living rooms etc.
kinda reminds me of the mac pro trashcan tower too, granted not glossy or curved.
I wonder if modeling it after speaker systems was intentional.
I think the design is the bollocks personally, and the size of it screams power, this console will be awesome and I am excited to be going with MS console first next gen. Its amazing to me how their approach has made me turn from hating them and their policies ('that' E3) to having a great deal of respect for the way Phil has stepped in and steered the ship around. Sony I kinda feel the other way about, so I will wait until there are 3 or 4 exclusives out before I pick up the PS5.
The problem is you are taking one group of people's comments to say another group of people's comments contradict the original group's comments, by lumping them as the same person/people - they're not.
